[5/30/08] Sex in the City Premiere
Isabel planned our whole Sex in the City night out. Tickets were selling out like mad by Tuesday night so we ended up going to the 830pm showing at the Presidio in the Marina. I got to Eunji's around 5pm to start getting ready and did my makeup and hair at her place. I attempted to curl my hair, which was a bit more noticeable in person than in the pictures. The movie was great and I really loved it. The storyline was good for a chick flick and I ended how the characters ended up.
Afterwards we went to the Bubble Lounge for champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The dance floor downstairs is a bit claustrophobic because the ceiling is so low. When Erik, Me, Eunji, and Tim got back to their apartment we decided to play Wii Tennis. Me and Eunji killed a bottle of wine and apparently I'm really good at Wii Tennis when I'm drunk hehe.

[5/23/08] Shirley's 26th Bday at The House in North Beach

To celebrate Shirley's 26th birthday 9 of her girl friends took her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant The House in North Beach. The food was really tasty asian fusion. I would definitely recommend the scallops and the sea bass =D.
[5/20/08] Flyering at UCSF for Project Michelle with Linh
I haven't seen Linh in forever and we've had plans to go grab dinner for maybe 2 months but it always ends up getting changed last minute. Her old roommate Michelle Maykin from college relapsed so we decided to kill two birds with one stone. We decided to go flyer for the bone marrow drive going on at UCSF. The day was really cloudy and windy, so it was pretty cold flyering outside. We ended up getting about 35 new people registered which is a decent job.

[5/15/08] Sleeping Beauty Musical
Lauren invited me to go watch Sleeping Beauty with her in San Jose, because she knew I would like it much more than Lucas would. She won 2 tickets from some contest. The theatre is a bit weird. It only has entrances to the rows on either side of the rows. These rows are huge long ass rows so it was a pain to get in and out of our seats. I loved the musical. I thought every did a great job on their parts and I even forgot parts of the story till I saw it on stage.
[5/10/08] KFOG Kaboom
Lauren had 2 free tickets for rte KFOG Kaboom concert from work, so she invited me and Erik to come along. Everyone always talks about how great the fireworks show is so I was pretty excited to see it. There were tons and tons of people with sleeping bags and folding chairs camped out all along the cement. After the heat wave we've been having in the Bay Area I think everyone expected the day to be a lot warmer than it actually ended up being. No one really listened to the bands at all and was just waiting till 9pm rolled around. The fireworks should was soo great. It lasted about 15 minutes. The only bad part was the cloud cover started rolling in so you couldn't really see some of the higher fireworks. Eunji and Tim were hanging out with Tim's friends but met up with us afterwards. Josh, Lauren's coworker decided to also come drinking with us. We just went out to one of the bars around their apartment.

[5/2/08 - 5/4/08] Girls Weekend in LA
I haven't seen Steph in forever so Me and Lauren decided to have a girls weekend and go down to LA to visit her. Lauren had to work last minute so she didn't come down till Saturday night. I decided to still go down on Friday to have more time with Steph. She picked me up from the airport Friday night. Stupid American Airlines. The flight was delayed for 2 hours, so by the time we got back to her place we just felt like passing out.
The next day we decided to go shopping at Target. Steph loves Target like no other hahah. Some of the clothes and shoes there are actually pretty decent. Afterwards we then headed over to BodyCentre for an hour relaxation massage. I thought it was extremely relaxing and it was my first time getting a professional massage. I think I like deep tissue a bit more thou, because it gets rid of all my knots. Keith, Steph's bf and his college friend were in town, so we decided to meet up with them at the Huntington Beach Pier. At the end of the pier is a burger joint called Ruby's where we had lunch. Once lunch was done Keith and his friend decided to go to Santa Monica and we headed back to Steph's to shower and get ready for the night. We met up at Lauren's house in El Segundo at 8:30pm. Hatch, his gf Teresa, his cousin Pat, and McBain also came out to hang with us. We headed off to Manhattan Beach to go to bars. May Ann lives in Manhattan Beach so she came out to drink with us too. After the food was all gone we figured it would be cheaper to just play drinking games back at Lauren's house with a pack of Coors light.
On Sunday we decided to continue on girly weekend and even roped Teresa to hang out with us. We grabbed breakfast in Manhattan Beach at the Kettle then decided to go watch an early showing of Made of Honor. The movie was actually pretty cute and had a decent plot line for a chick flick. After the movie was done Teresa had to go back home so we dropped her off at Hatch's work National Banana in Santa Monica. Hatch gave us a tour of his office, sound stage, and backstage areas. Pretty cool and also weird that Hatch works in an office. I've never been to 3rd street Promenade, so Steph and Lauren decided we should go check it out. By the time we were done we had to head over to the airport so I could make my flight. Once I got to LAX I saw that again American Airlines decided to delay my flight by another 2 hours. I am definitely never flying them again.
