[6/30/06] Dinner on College then Tiki Bar
I went to Chevy's with Lauren for lunch and caught up with her life. It's soo weird I haven't seen her in like 6 months and she's been over on the east coast at MIT cuz she's fucking insanely smart haha. Well, it's all good she has a job in the city so we can party together and go to cal football games. I miss my college friends and I wish they could live all near me. I haven't seen Rich in a year and freaken Kasper in I think maybe 2. Mann the time is sure flying. After lunch me, Lauren, Derek, and Ed watched Superman Returns, which I liked but yah it was a bit long. Then we drove up to Berk to grab dinner with Cameron and Sara. We found this cute French place on College. The food was pretty good. I had the soft shell crab. Man I've never heard soo much civil engineering talk until that night haha. Well, I really was the only non civil enginner of the group so I'm sure that didn't help. Sara cracks me up tho because she's soo cute and funny.
I think I've been back about a lil over 2 weeks but I feel like I've been home forever. Taking 3 classes this summer really wasn't such a hot idea. I have 12 chapters to read tonight so I decided to be a nerd and study instead of hitting up a wine bar and partying at Gravity with Alcorn. I'm sure he thinks I'm just flaking on him, but really this past week I've been going to interviews then hitting up class after for another 3 hours. It's really not fun and soo tiring. Then I have all this family stuff that I won't go into because it's pretty depressing and sorta stressful. Man I really just need to find a job that I wanna do and not have to cold call people because fuck that I didn't suffer all these years in school to get rejected all day and harass people.
Oh I love my new tech toys hahah. My mom was complaining the other day while I was tryin to learn how to use everything that I was paying more attention to them than her. I have a new cell that has blue tooth so it works with my new car =D and I got a new video ipod since my ipod died in Taiwan.

[6/23/06] Hanging out in Berk
I haven't seen Eunji in a year so I got Carlo and Derek to go up with me to Berk to go play pool. We hit up Thalassa to sign up for a table then went to Jupiters for a beer while we waited. Man Indians kept hitting on me and Eunji which was really weird but we got Carlo to pretend to be our boyfriends and it was all good. Haha yah I really suck at pool and I should really practice more since I suck soo bad. After a couple beers and games of pools we were craving Top Dog so we walked up the hill.

[6/18/06] Windy's Graduation from UCSC
Windy is the last one of us to graduate from the University of California soo yay my parents don't have to pay the Cal Regents any more money heheheh. The weather wasn't too hot only 70s and there was a light breeze so I didn't end up baking in the sun while I waited for her to cross the stage. The graduation only lasted about and hour and a half and they even got hoods man. I didn't get to get hooded =P. Afterwards, we ate some food at the reception and all decided that my graduation had the best food with chocolate dipped strawberries and petite fores. I ended up getting tan from being in the sun for 3 hours heheh.

Oh my parents got me a new Camry 2007. It's soo crazy with keyless doors and engine, bluetooth, navigation system, and a bunch of other lil nifty stuff. Haha yah needless to say I like it now everyone else just needs to not hit or scratch up my car =D.
[6/17/06] Mike's 23 Bday
Mike decided to have a bday party so I told him I would come especially since I haven't seen Carlo in forever. The party was pretty chill and I ended up talking to a good number of people there, since I met a lot when I took them out to the bars when they visited Taiwan. They had a keg so I ended up drinking a lot of beer probably like 8 cups or so, which I haven't done since hanging out with the Whistler crew hehe. But I'm happy Ed and Lauren are moving back up just to hang out with me haha.

[6/14/06] Last Day in Taiwan
Today is my last day in Taiwan and it's finally sunny again instead of raining. Haha tho since it's 90 degrees outside I don't really feel like walking around outside. AC is soo much better hehe. I decided to get all the people left together for my goodbye dinner and we headed to Ruby Tuesday in Warner Village. The burger was really good even though I only ate half of it and gave the rest to Derek haha. Daniel never took sticky pictures so we decided to go try and cram 9 people into a booth. People ended up getting cut off but there was still some good ones. So this year in Taiwan has flown by soo fast and I've made a ton of good friends that I will really miss in the future so hopefully we all still keep in touch biatches hehe. Plus everyone knows what an aim whore I am so that means there really is no reason not to keep in touch with each other hehe. This past year has been a blast and I'm really glad I decided to study abroad. I know I will probably have a lot of people tell me that I've turned more fobby hehe but hey I'm getting in touch with my roots and my Chinese is waaay better too. Next time I blog I'll be back at home in the Bay Area sooo crazy but yah there's a lot of people at home waiting to hang out with kick ass muah heheheh.

[6/9/06] Vietnamese food and World Cup Game
Carolin, Sam, and Andi really love this Vietnamese restaurant in Shida so they took me there for the first time today. The place is pretty small and can only fit a like 4 tables. The food was really good but super spicy. Haha I didn't love the food as much as the rest of them but it was good. We ended up hanging and eating dinner for 2 hours soo long huh but the time just flew by. Afterwards, we went to the Village Mall where the club Plush is to watch the world cup game on the basement floor. The game was Germany vs Costa Rica. There were alot of Europeans there watching the game.

[6/8/06] Hanging out with the Girls
Lea is leaving for the states tomorrow so me, Jenny, and X decided to go to dinner with her at Ximen then take sticky pictures of course heheh. After that it started to rain while we were attempting to take pictures at CKS Memorial. Awww soo sad Lea's the first person that I'll actually miss but at least she's just down in Socal so we'll get a reunion together and all hang out. Haha I still remember that Lea was probably the first one of the Cali kids that I met on test day. The rest of us were all stressing out about the placement test even me cuz I didn't remember any words but she was just outside chilling with no care in the world hehe. Man wow a year has gone by sooo fast =(.

[6/5/06 - 6/7/06] Visiting Family down in Kaohsuing
I went down south to go visit my dad's family one last time before I leave. I ended up seeing almost all of my dad's brothers and sisters, which was really cool because I'm not sure when I'll see them next. Since my Mandarin and Taiwanese is a lot better I got to have a couple good conversations with them. Seeing all of them really just emphasized how important it is to take care of your health and that that should be a person's number one thing everything else doesn't matter if you're not healthy. It really sucks that something bad has to happen to you so that you realize just how lucky you really are =(. Not that I wish for bad things to happen but some people really should grow up and be more understanding of the big picture and not the little every day things. Anyways, I ended up spending a lot of time with my cousin Michelle which was really fun since we did very girly stuff like get manicures, facials, and get our hair done. Haha all my aunts were making fun of us to my grandparents saying we're turning into such pretty girls because of our treatments =P.

[6/4/06] Visiting the top of Taipei 101
Taipei 101 is a national landmark that is used to represent Taiwan in many artistic mediums. Me, Lea, Jenny, X, Warren and Vinnie decided that we of course had to go to the top of 101 and go check out the view. I love shiny sparkly things especially lights and firecrackers hehehe. Anyways, the view was really cool and it was about 10 bucks to go up on the fastest elevator in the world. We went from the 5th floor to the 89th floor in about 10 secs =P and plus I didn't have to wait three hours in the cold like I did with my sis in NYC to check out the Empire State building. The girls had a blast running around and taking crazy funny pictures. Afterwards, we grabbed some food and took some sticky pictures of course haha. Man everyone is leaving soon sniff. I'm heading down to Kaohsuing to visit my family for 4 days.

[6/3/06] NTU Prom, Chilis for Dinner, Room 18
NTU had their prom tonite and since Derek knew someone in charge of putting it together he got us all to go. Me, Lea, X, and Jenny decided to be very girly so we all went to get our hair done. It was soo cheap around 9 bucks man. You can't even get a haircut for that much in the states. I really liked how my hair ended up. Afterwards, we hit up Chilis for dinner because it's right above Room 18, which is a club that we went to afterwards. When we first got to Room 18 it was soo dead and no one was dancing till we started dancing soo yah the party can't start until we're there hehehe. Ok now on to what people really come to my site for ... pictures hahaha.

[6/2/06] ICLP Farewell Dinner
I'm finally done with school yayyy. We had a good bye dinner but hardly any of our teachers should up just my first class teacher and my calligraphy teacher. The food was really good and I ended up eating a ton. The girls dressed up but the guys didn't boo hehe.
