[7/29/07] White Water Rafting on the Sacramento River
Cameron's boss has a raft and knows how to be an oarsman so he took us out on the white water rapids of the Sacramento River. Pg&e controls the water level and it was pretty low today, which makes it harder to paddle and avoid rocks. In the beginning after we got on the river we got stuck on this one rock but after that it was pretty chill. The rapids were really fun I kept laughing the whole time we went through them. Ed threw Lauren into the water and after that the only reason why we fell into the water was because someone threw that person in. My legs are pretty banged up but I didn't get sunburnt.

[7/26/07] Jersey Boys
I went and saw Jersey Boys with Eunji, Lena, and her friend Sandy. It was sooo good. I think it's my 2nd or 3rd favorite musical that I've ever seen. I've never heard of the group the Four Season, which the whole musical is based on, but they have a crazy number of really popular songs that everyone has heard of from remakes.

[7/21/07] Carrie and Ryan's Wedding
Carrie and Ryan held their wedding at Hayes Mansion in San Jose. The venue was really pretty but the weather was a bit warm. I kept sweating =(. I met some more of Erik's coworkers and their significant others. I haven't been to a wedding since my 5th uncle got married waay back in the day. My sisters and I were flower girls for the wedding. The actual wedding was a decent lenght and then we went outside for the reception. Everyone had to go to a tree to find their name and figure out which table there were sitting at. I thought that was a pretty cool idea. I might have to steal it for my wedding. They had this pear thing going on so we got pear candles and a pear salt and pepper set. I thought that was really cute and I'm going to use it when I get my own apartment.

Zac drove me and Erik up to Pleasanton to hit up Aura for Jen and Sally's bday party. DJ Am was djing so we had to fork over 25 bucks for cover charge. Booo soo lame. I will have to say tho that he is a pretty decent dj and I did enjoy most of the music he spun. I saw a couple of high school people at the club.

[7/17/07] Studying at BN with Linh
My business research class is really killing me this quarter. There's just soo much busy work I feel like I'm never done with school. I haven't seen Linh in a while so we made plans to go to Barnes and Nobles for a study date. She's one of my friends that is always down to hang out and study together. Hahah man we're such big nerds. We never used to study this much at Cal. I've been thinking about a lot of things lately and I feel like I'm slowly starting to figure out my future. I love my Saturday class even though it's Saturday morning. I think it's really helped me figure out what I want to do career wise and what exactly I'm passionate about. I'm going to pursue sustainable real estate, which is actually a broad area but I think ultimately I want to create my own consulting firm helping people build sustainable buildings.

[7/7/07 - 7/8/07] River Rafting in Sacramento then visiting Chico
Everyone wanted to go river rafting again so me, Eunji, and X got a bunch of people together. Half of the crew was my high school friends and half was the Taiwan kids. Boat 1 had Derek, Eunji, Tim, Kim, Ken, Alex, Stone, and Alcorn while Boat 2 had me, X, Lea, Vinnie, Chain, and Erik. This time we didn't get stuck in any bushes because my boat had Erik steering us and probably because I started freaking out any time I thought we were getting too close to an edge. We stopped at one point and jumped off an cliff that was probably 10 feet high. The first time I did it together with Derek and the second time I got freaked out at the end and fell into the water heheh. Lea doesn't know how to swim so Erik took her to the side and got her comfortable with the water and ended up convincing her to jump off.

Chico is a very chill small town where there's not much going on. Everyone seems to be drinking or getting high. X threw us a BBQ at the homeless park haha and Erik ended up cooking most of the food before Chain took over at the end. I even got corn on the cob =D. My bf knows me sooo well hehe. We drove Vinnie back down to Great Mall where his friend picked him up. Ohh I learned stick for the trip so I can actually drive stick on the freeway. Traffic and city streets are still kinda hard with all the slowing down and speeding up.

[7/6/07] A's Game
Brent had 2 extra tickets to the A's ga me so he invited me and Erik to go along with Lena. We had the Pwc Sf office tickets to we really were 2 rows from the dugout. We sat in front of the A's dugout. The game was ok. The A's didn't play very well so that put a damper on things.

[7/1/07] Buffalo Bills Brewery
Ed's been home for about 3 weeks and I haven't had the chance to see him at all so I made plans to meet up with him, Lauren and Lucas at Buffalo Bills for lunch on Sunday. Erik was running late so he met us at the restaurant. The appitizers weren't that great because the fruit looked a bit old and almost moldy and then the waitress spills my beer completely all over my pants. Needless to say I was not very pleased at all. School is being a pain in the ass lately and I finally understand why everyone complains about the Business Research class. There really is an insane amount of work to do.
