[8/29/05] Hanging out with PJ and Taylor
I just had to hang out with Taylor before I left and she grew all big. I walked her as usual except for some reason today she kept getting scared and running back to her house. She can run pretty fast when she wants to and today it was kinda a pain because I was wearing heels. She kissed me good bye and I ended up playing with her while I waited for PJ to get ready.

We went down to San Jose area to get this dry pho which was pretty good. I walked through Valley Fair for the first time. It's a pretty nice mall.

Shannon and her bf Joe dropped by for a little bit to chat, catch up, and say bye. I haven't seen her in almost probably a year. Wow does time really fly. My dad was asking my mom how many people I had to see before I left hehe cuz all these random people he's never met before keep dropping by the house.
[8/28/05] Hanging out with Jia
I've know Jia since freshman year at Cal and I haven't seen her since we graduated but she decided to fly over for a week and we ended up hanging out for a bit. We've both mellowed out a bit since our crazy days of college where we would get drunk hop the stadium fence and chill on the field or go to random frat parties and get drunk and dance on top of tables hehehe. Since she's from Boston and wanted to go into suburbia i took her to Newpark Mall. We hung around the mall for a couple hours got food and were surrounded by teeny boppers with their parents. God I hate annoying high school kids =P and I used to think college freshman were bad hahah. Yah so I'm super lame once we got to the parking lot I thought someone stole my car since I couldn't find it anywhere. Me and Jia were both starting to freak out. Haha I even called up PJ to see if he would come over and help us look. Yah so right after I call him we decided to go to the next lot over and load and behold there's my car hahah. Yes I hate parking lots I can never find my car grrrr. Afterwards Tom and PJ came over to hang and watch a movie.

[8/26/05] Partying in San Jose
Windy turned 21 on Monday and didn't really go out drinking like your suppose to so I took her and Jenn down with me to party in San Jo. Carlo's new place is really nice he's got the master bedroom and the house even has a pool. Alcorn, Erik, and Justine came down from SF to hang out too. We ended up going to this party that Vince was at. Hehe I got my sister both drunk. Windy was good and drank a bunch of water afterwards so she didn't even puke. Jenn on the other hand kinda ended up feeling miserable in the morning still =(.

[8/25/05] Getting Ready to Leave for Taiwan
I got my room assignments the other day. YAY I got the 4th floor which means less mosquito bites and my roomie is this chick Lotte from the Netherlands. Since I'm a dumb American I had to google the Netherlands to figure out where it is so apparently my roomie is Dutch. I wonder if she'll be able to speak English if not it's gonna be a trip talking to her in Mandarin. I have yet to start packing but so far all I have in my suitcase is a bunch of over the counter drugs haha. I'm such a druggie haha but I gotta have my cold medicine and antacids for sure ... they help tons with the whole stupid asian turning red when I drink. It hasn't really hit me that this time next Wednesday I'll be hanging out with my grandparents who I haven't seen in 13 freaken years then I'll be off to Taipei for four months. Haha at least I've come to realize that I fly out on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. I've been telling everyone I'm leaving Wednesday but I guess I was wrong hehe. So I haven't really been reviewing my Mandarin much but hopefully I'll be able to understand people. We have about 60 people in the program 17 are from Europe 10 from Japan few from Hong Kong and Korea and a shit load from Cali. There's a ton from the UC system and actually only like 5 from the Cal States. So I guess it was kinda hard to get the 4000 dollar Wang Family scholorship to go study in Taiwan. I thought it was a whatevers yah we'll just give it to whomever cool I'm getting 4 grand even tho I turned in the application late but I guess I'm pretty kick ass hehehe. It might have been cuz I threw in the whole Berk undergrad thing or perhaps it was the taking 6 classes trying to get my MBA and Real Estate Brokers license and working part time that made them feel sorry for me =P. Yes all my friends are over achievers just like me .... yunno with the whole law school, trying to get into med school, and oh yah getting a masters at freaken MIT =P. Yes we are kick ass people besides the whole stressed out factor.
[8/19/05] Hanging out in SF and DNA Lounge
I haven't seen Anna Banana in forever since she's been really busy with work so I met up with her in the city to grab lunch and get water rafting pictures from her. We went to the Bistro on top of Nordstroms, which was really good. Afterwards, I shopped around Union Square for a bit and bought a couple shirts. Man I'm really not a shopper. I can only do it for so long before I get bored. There was a bunch of people at Sephora because there was a special promotion with the Wicked cast. Stupid me forgot to bring our Wicked program so I didn't bother to wait in line and try to get autographs of Glinda and Elphaba. I met up with Linh during her 30 minute break from Victoria Secret and chatted with her a bit. I now know my correct bra size hahaha. It's what I thought I was before.

Eunji works for Geneteck and they have these Ho Ho parties every friday for company personnel. They had a ton of food and different types of beer people brewed. It was fun free food and free beer what more can you ask for heheheh. Man I wanna work for a company that gives you cool perks though I first need to find a job. Dennis' friend was hanging out at DNA lounge so all of us decided to go there. The crowd was decently mixed yayyyy not all asians hahah esp since Alcorn and Erik would have felt weird. The first DJ was pretty kick ass and it was fun to go dancing =D.

Me and Eunji both agree that we need to find some more chick friends that way we can do girly stuff and get into places for free hehe. Our guy friends also agree that we need more chick friends because apparently guys don't wanna hang out with more guys so when they invite us some place they expect me and Eunji to bring more girls. It's probably because I walk her every time I'm over. This guy James from Cal organized 25 ppl to go to Wicked. That in itself is a great accomplishment but the crazy ass thing is that he found us super close seats ... I'm talking about second row from the stage on the goddamn freaken floor. It's the first time in my life that I got to see all the details in the costumes. I could even see the mics on the singers usually I can barely see the facial expressions. Wicked is kinda a prequel to the Wizard of Oz and a different slant on things so basically the Wicked Witch of the West isn't soo wicked after all. But anyways the musical was soooooo goood. I loved it and it was totally worth the 72 buckeros for the tickets.
[8/13/05] Dave and Busters with High School People
I went to Dave and Busters with Alcorn, Matt, Derek, and my older sis Lena. We met up with Nick at D&B. Man the night was like a high school reunion hahah. I ended up seeing Gerald, Deepa, Kim, Ken, and other ppl there too. The guys were pretty much stuck on the basketball shooting game. I think Nick got a high score of 105. I sadly only got 26 when I played hahah. Me and my sis never play video games at all but we were having fun doing the Need for Speed racing game. Afterwards, we all were hungry so we went and grabbed food at Denny's. I got home about 4 am and woke up at 7:30 because I couldn't sleep anymore. Damn my bod for not letting me sleep in when I drink the night before =P.

[8/06/05] Bars in the City
Linh told me this bar called Dirty Martini is a pretty good bar to go hang out. Dennis, Derek and me took a cab from Alcorn's apartment to the bar, which is near Pier 39. Eunji, Stone, and Alcorn ended up driving there because the cab left them. I guess he got tired of waiting or something. Anyways, the place wasn't that bad cuz we actually had a place to sit down and the music was decent. Alcorn just really wanted to leave because it was an older crowd and there weren't that many people in the bar. The venue was actually pretty big and and pool tables in the back.

Alcorn convinced us to go to this other place called HiFi to hang out with a younger crowd. When we got there the place was pretty packed and way more people were dancing then at Dirty Martini. I ended up seeing some people from high school like Joanne, Jill, and Mark who I haven't seen since high school. I actually didn't go talk to any of them but Alcorn and Dennis did. Doncha just love staring at someone trying to remember how you know the person haha. HiFi was pretty fun and Stone, Dennis, and Alcorn bought me drinks so I don't think I actually ended up paying for any drinks that night .... SCOREEE hehehe. According to Eunji Stone's kinda like me in the aspect that once I start getting buzzed I'll start buying all my friends who I don't think is drunk drinks =D.

Pj got off work early so him and his friend Tom ended up coming to the city too. Me, Stoner, and Eunji met up with them at Matrix. The Matrix was alright not as great as it's suppose to be considering I just googled it and Mayor Newsom is an investor and supposely it's suppose to be like a Manhattan bar. We ended up in the back room hangin out on the couches which was chill. Afterwards, Pizza Orgasmica was super close so we got some food. I dunno I didn't think the pizza was thaaaat great. It was alright.
