[8/29/06] A's Game vs Boston Red Soxs

Yayyy I'm done with finals fiinally. Now I'm gonna bum around for a couple days before cramming for my broker's test. Alcorn invited me to go to an A's game with him Candace, Alicia, Eric and Candace's friend. I got to catch up with Candace who I haven't seen in at least a year if not longer. The game actually went by really fast and the A's won 2 to 0. I can't wait till football season starts and me and Lauren start going to games. Haha perhaps we'll meet some hot alumni =D.

Eric has convinced me I need to hit up Vegas with a bunch of chicks hehe

[8/28/06] School Stuff

I've been busy lately doing school projects and studying for finals. Man sometimes school really blows. Next on the list past my broker test so I can start making some real money ;-D hehe. Yah I gotta start looking for a job at a company i really like. I wanna find a company with younger people that will go out to Happy Hour together on Friday nights. I really like my Operations Management teacher a lot too bad he's going back to St. Mary's to teach. He's a great lecturer but his tests are always soo damn hard. I plan to live in the City within the next few years so here are so pictures.

[8/20/06] 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee

Lena heard from her coworker that the 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee was a hilarious musical and suggested that my sister go see it before it left SF. She ended up getting half off tickets and took Me and Windy as Windy's bday present. It was at the Post Street Theatre which is a theatre inside a hotel soo odd. We caught the adult version of the show and I was a bit put off by just how crude the show was. It was really weird because I didn't get some of the jokes ... guess I'm just too innocent =P hehe but I had 60 year olds sitting around me cracking up. I mean I thought there was a huge sexual overtone with the whole musical and all the adults seem to have issues. Issues like they really shouldn't be allowed to be around kids. I think because I saw the last adult only performance they ad lib a lot and even had 4 audience members participate. I think everyone loved the Biker guy just cuz it was soo random that he would be watching a musical.

The kids were pretty funny and cute overall. Basically the premise of the show is that it's a spelling bee and all these kids want to win but they're all the weird kids in school that really don't have many friends. There's 6 kids: William Barfee who spells out words with his foot, Olive whose Mom is a scientologist, the Korean girl who can speak 6 different languages but everyone thinks she's Chinese, the weird kid with a cape whose not really smart but some how made it, the pigtailed girl with two fathers, and the cub scout kid who was last year's winner.

[8/13/06] Dinner with Family Friends

Since my dad just got back from Taiwan my parents wanted to take out Heidi's family to dinner. I haven't seen Heidi in forever and I still remember when we lived across the street from her and would go over and play at her house. We made up weird games that was sorta kinda like baseball but not. She's still working on getting her PhD at MIT. So she's been over in Boston for at least 8 years now. I dunno if I could deal with the East Coast for that long. We ended up going to this buffet place in San Mateo called Hokkaido, which had a ton of food. The restaurant is right next to the ice skating rink. I'm soo full at the moment =P. I hate eating at buffets because I feel like I can never eat that much stuff.

[8/12/06] Zara and Nordstrom Cafe

For my operations management class we are doing a group project on Zara and its supply chain. We've been meeting every Saturday to do case studies but since none of us has actually been inside Zara we decided to go on a field trip and check out the store we were researching. Zara's clothing actually aren't very cheap and are mid range price but good quality. One of my group members who I think is totally useless and never contributes when we have homework assignment decided to show up to the meeting an hour late. Our discussion ended up taking longer than I planned since I told Eunji I would meet up with her for lunch.

Me and Eunji decided to go to Nordstrom's Cafe to eat lunch. I love the sauce they give you to dip your fries in =D. Stoner's leaving for USC on Monday so she's been hanging out with him lately. We decided that we're gonna go to Europe next summer since by then I'll have a job and the money to actually go. Hopefully Minji can come with us too.

2 more weeks of group projects and presentations then finals then I have 3 weeks free to cram for my Broker's test before I start working and taking 2 night classes. Yes I know I lead such a fun fun life haha. It's all good it'll be worth it when I'm making 6 figures in a 5 years or so.

[8/7/06] Dave and Busters

Santa one of our volunteers from NTU is in the South Bay for a couple weeks so we decided to go hang out at Dave and Busters. Daniel, X, Warren, Angel, Dennis, Jenny, and Me all meet up. It was pretty fun just ate food and played some video games. I wanted to leave early since out of everyone I'm the only one with summer school. I had to drive Robert and Jenny home, so I ended up getting home at 1am. That really sucked. Bad things happen when I drive at night so really from now on I'm finding people to drive me around =P. Actually from now till the end of school I think I'm just not going out really I have no time and everyone else seems to have ton of it so I'm tired of people making me late or waiting for things. On a happier note my pops is coming home on Wednesday yayyyy. Now I just need Windy's car to be all fixed so I don't get yelled at for something totally not my fault. I just found out from the car shop that the radiator support is back ordered so the car won't be ready till Friday earliest. Man really all these little unnecessary things are stressing me out. I'm going to pull an Ed and just stay and home and sit on my ass cuz right now that sounds great to me. Those of you who don't really know me may wonder why I'm such a stress ball well all I have to say to you people is stop doing things to stress me the fuck out and learn to be a lil more fucking responsible and considerate of others.

[8/4/06] Miami Vice

I haven't hung out with Robert for about a week so we decided to just have a chill day on Friday. I took him down to my hood aka Union Landing instead of heading over to Hacienda aka his hood haha. Both places are filled with soo many teeny boppers it's not even funny. We went to Chevy's and grabbed dinner and margaritas yumm =D. Afterwards, we were both soo full and had to wait about 2 hours till Miami Vice started so we just bummed around the area. Derek and Carlo ended up showing up like 15 minutes before the movie so I didn't really get to hang out with them that long. My dad actually watch the movie the other day in Taiwan and really liked it. Me and Robert thought it was alright but definitely too long. I was freezing in the theatre.

I have couple more weeks of summer school left then I need to start cramming for my Real Estate Broker's test. I got a letter from Rich the other day. He was telling me to quit the whole MBA thing and go out and have some fun. Haha. Yeah I know I'm been doing this school thing for too long blah. Too bad I have at least another year of it left. I'm still trying to find a job that I really want to do hopefully something comes along.
