[8/29/08] Temple
Amanda came into town for Labor Day weekend and wanted to go clubbing with a bunch of her high school friends. She invited me along, so in addition I invited my little sister Jenn and a bunch of her guy coworkers and my cousin Michelle with her bf. Temple wasn't too crowded. The downstairs hip hop room was definitely more pack and hot compared to the upstairs trance area. Dance was soo much fun and I got to meet a few more cool chicks. It's weird when I think about the fact that they are 4 years younger than me =P.

[8/21/08] Kasper and Judy are in Town
Kasper and Judy were in town for one of his high school friend's wedding in Napa. Lauren didn't feel like working so I barted over earlier to go get drinks at Spats. I had some pineapple frothy concoction that was really good and didn't taste like it had any alcohol at all. Once Marcus got into Berkeley we headed over to Jupiter's to try to find a table to fit everyone. A bunch of Kasper's high school friends came and I got to meet all of them. I saw Greg too caught up with him for a bit. We stopped talking since we had to yell over 2 people to hold a conversation =P. Kasper was trying to get everyone to integrate so he would move around the table and get his college friends talking to his high school friends.

[8/13/08] Dinner with Steve and Amanda in SJ Japantown
Amanda came back in town after working at Sea World in Florida for the summer. Erik found a Japanese restaurant in SJ Japantown to go to. Amanda order a Wasbi martini that was surprisingly good.

[8/7/08] Early Bday Dinner for Jieun
I hadn't seen Jieun in a really long time, and since I had to be in the City for this green building seminar we decided to meet up afterwards for a little bit of shopping and dinner. We hit up Forever 21 and H&M to see if they had any cheap good deals, but both of us came up empty handed. We felt like eating Thai food and King Thai was right around the corner so we decided to go get some Pad Thai.
[8/2/08] Brent's Goodbye Party
Erik and I drove up to SF for Brent's good bye party. We went to Barracuda Sushi, which is in the Castro for dinner. I really like their fried tofu dishes. We met a few more of Brent's friends ie Vikash, Raj, and Colleen. I got to catch up with Dave a bit before he had to go. Afterwards, we drove over to Noe Valley to go to the bar Bliss. The bar was a really cool neighborhood bar that I would visit after a long day at work if I lived near by =P. I met a green architect from Hawaii and chatting with her about her projects for a bit. The only complaint I have about Bliss is that the music was played waay to loud. By the end of the night I kind of felt like I had been screaming for hours just to talk to people.
