[9/20/08] Pier 39, John Collins, & Temple

Patty is trying to develop her photography portfolio and I wanted some nice pictures of me and Erik so we decided to do a photo shoot in the Presidio. The photo shoot was pretty fun. We posed around some old buildings, staircases, in a tree, and next to Crissy Fields. I see this long concrete stair case and suggest that it might be a cool place for some pictures. At the top there was this grassy field. We were taking some pictures and then out comes a bride and groom with their wedding party haha. We decided to book it after that. Erik wanted to climb this old tree in the parking lot and pose up there. Hopefully, we got some good shots from there. I was a bit afraid that the tree branch was going to break under my fat ass hehe.

After we were done we meet up with Amanda, Jennie, and Angela at Crab House for dinner. Me and Erik split a very yummy crab sandwich. Once dinner was done the girls need to get ready for going out. Angela and her bf have this very cute dog called Cookie. Harlot blows ass and made us wait 30 minutes outside. It looked like we were never going to get in unless we bought a $500 table, so it was time to move on. We ended up at Temple again. This time it was soo packed it was impossible to find people. I lost Erik for a good 45 minutes when he tried to find his PWC friends.

[9/13/08] Mission Peak Hike

Marivic is back in town and I haven't seen her in a few years, so obviously we wanted to hang out. I've never really hiked around the Fremont hills. It's pretty nice the only thing that isn't so great is that there is no shade at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend hiking up on a warm or hot day. Most of the trails me and Erik go to in the South Bay as foliage and trees to give decent shade. Emi and her bf came and I got to catch up with her for a little bit. Marivic ended up leaving after 20 minutes into the hike. She didn't feel like she was in good enough shape to get to the top. Erik, Lena, and I were fine the only tricky part was the rocky area near the top. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top and since we ran/walk all the way down we got down in a little over an hour.
