Rogered senseless

Welcome to this year's edition of our annual survey of pop music, entitled Rogered senseless. Again, no physical CDs will be released this year, and there appears to be no serious complaints about our recent switch to digital format (haha). As usual, comments and suggestions are appreciated, as the relatively new delivery medium would certainly have some room for improvement in these initial launches. Click on each of the above images for its respective hi-res versions. Now on to the music!

Interestingly enough, this year's collection feels more 'pop' and mainstream than any previous survey we have curated since we started rockin' this joint in 1998. Continuing the trends that emerged about 3 or 4 surveys ago, this year's compilation also features more female vocalists, more dubstep, more club-ready bangerz, as well as an ever decreasing percentage of British artists (replaced by acts from diverse markets such as Korea and by the re-emergence of crossover American country pop). In case you're wondering, David Guetta indeed appears more times on this survey (or on any previous compilation we have ever done) than any other artist, by appearing here three times. Perhaps good riddance for the time being, as guitar rock and indie rock are dead. Now we've got the glamorous Miss Lana Del Rey crashing into our surveys for the first time.

This year we've moved away from the American Midwest, and relocated back to the left coast. We now hang our hat in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Thanks to workmate Dom for supplying's this year's catchphrase title, as it never seems to leave my mind for long during these past few months. Without further ado, here is the link to the high-quality mp3 music files, all zipped-up for your pleasure:
