Highpoints are places within the state which are arbitrarily choosen to the the whim of a politician, or some historical accident. Their rather random distribution provides a good example of bits and pieces of geology around the state. Of course, historical geology doesn't work in pieces, instead, the story forms a continuum of mountain buildings, continental collision, volcanic eruptions, and huge faults breaking through the landscape.

This webpage has no climbing directions and it in progress. If you are looking for actual trip reports or climbing directions look for any of the other easily available websites.
