Brief Bio
I am an entering graduate student for Fall 2006 in the department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at UC Berkeley. I completed my B.S. in the same department in the Spring of 2006. My technical interests involve algorithms, combinatorial optimization, and mathematical modeling.
I am currently affiliated with Professor Ken Goldberg's Automation Laboratory - a group dedicated to robotics and algorithms research. Over this last year we pioneered a robotics approach to the hunt for the ivory billed woodpecker, which is a notoriously elusive bird that was thought to be extinct for over 60 years, and may have made a comeback. This summer I was fortunate enough to be offered and internship with Palo Alto Research Center, where I expect to be conducting research with the Embedded Reasoning group in the Intelligence Systems Laboratory.
