My summer online psychic reading experience
Every summer, when finals are finally over for the year some of us
from the dorm take off on a trip to some far-off, inexpensive
destination. The first year in school, we took our backpacks on a trip
to Bali and came back with tons of gorgeous silver trinkets and loads
of expensive materials they hand-dye over there. The colors they use
are incredible! You can use them for wall hangings or table cloths and
they are truly worth having around just to brighten up your spirits!
It's a great way to decorate your dorm room and the extra stuff we
brought back we sold at one of our dorm events we have every year.
It's a rummage sale, used books and psychic reading fair; just about
anything you want to get rid of. It's always a big deal around here
because it takes quite a bit of planning and the money we get goes
toward our trip next year. This year we invited other dorms to
participate and they helped in the planning to do an even bigger event
to raise money for our trip next year so that more people can go. One
of the best ideas was to get some local professionals who do
psychic readings at the fair. According to this USA Today article, psychic readers are still making
money in these economic times!
We didn't know a good one from a bad one, but we did want real
professional psychics. We read an article on how to get the most out
of your psychic reading which helped us choose the psychics who would
be doing them for us at this year's event. Most had experience as an
online psychic or as a phone psychic and they agreed to donate a percentage of what they made
to our cause! Because of the psychic readings, this year was a huge
success and several hundred students from around campus showed up for
the sale and psychic fair. They gave three of us free psychic readings
for asking them to come! They told us we'd make quite a bit of money,
AND, we made more than enough money for next year's trip! If anyone on
campus is thinking of doing a group effort type event, think about
professional psychic readings because they won't charge you for coming
in and will give you a percentage of what they make during your event.
They were also really good about dropping their regular rates because
we were broke students! Just make sure you advertise it well around
campus so that you get tons of people to attend because you WILL make
money if you promote your event right.
MY FRIEND RAN UP CREDIT CARD DEBT IN HER HUSBANDS NAME
A friend of mine called me today, hysterical. Apparently she ran up a bunch of credit card debt on her cards, and she didn't tell her husband about it. She has been trying to pay it down, but lately she has been unable to afford even the minimum monthly payment on her cards and so she has been borrowing from one card to pay another. Now they are completely charged to the max and one is even already $200 over the balance that she is allowed so she is now being charged overages as well. She has looked into debt consolidation, however, since some of the credit card debt in her husband's name as well, she is not eligible for any debt consolidation loan unless he speaks with them and signs the paperwork. In addition to this she has fallen behind on her mortgage payments, and now she is completely panicked that he is going to find out. She doesn't want to tell him that they need to consolidate credit card debt, because if she tells him this then he will want to see the bills and then he will find out that she has been applying for other credit cards in both their names. She is not sure what to do, but she is afraid that if she doesn't tell him about the debt that they will lose everything and he will find out anyway, but if she comes clean with him he may just leave her. That is the type of guy he is, so this really does seem like it is reality.
Well, I think that I talked her into telling him, which quite honestly took quite a few phone conversations. At first she told me no way, but I told her that either way he was going to find out about it eventually so it was definitely better if he heard it because she was being honest with him. Much better than finding out that he has no credit left when applying for a car loan or debt loans or something. I think that if that happened to him he really might kill her. Anyway she asked me to be there when she tells him, and I agreed. I will bring over some Chinese food tonight and she will tell him. He really has quite a temper so I am not surprised that she wants some moral support.
