Gifts for women

Spa gift baskets are one of my favorite gifts to both give and get. I remember when I was younger my mom was on the school board and people would put names into a basket of the moms that are doing a lot of extra help around school and church and then once a month they would pick out a name from the basket. Then I would get to help my mom and the other people on the school board wrap up a gift for the persons whose name was picked. It was always a spa basket gift with soaps and a loofah (my favorite) and lotions and a gift certificate for a wax or massage. It was such a great gift because it's always for a mom who is super stressed out and never takes time for herself so it has a lot of great stuff in it, but it also is a reminder to take some time out and help yourself the same way that you have been helping other people.

My friends and I also do spa gifts a lot. Instead of all of us getting each person a gift, we would all pitch in and do something. Now that we are older it seems like such a great gift to get a gift certificate for a massage or an eyebrow wax and a basket full of goodies. We usually all go together to get stuff to fill the basket like soaps, tweezers, nail polish, one of those really great rocks for your feet that feel so great. There are so many things that we wrap up and then usually one big thing like a certificate for a mani pedi or a wax. But the best part is getting the basket and filling it and then adding ribbon and color coordinating it to look cute. And it's a great gift because you don't spend a ton of money because you are slitting the costs with friends and all going in on one gift (well its really a ton of gifts in one) and you get to all spend time together to go and pick it out and then it's also just a great gift to get because it lasts for a long time and those are all good things to have (and you normally wouldn't buy yourself because you feel guilty). It's just a great overall gift.
