My interest in computers has lead me to take a class about Web Hosting. This can be done by talking with someone who is already using this service, or you can try it yourself for free, and if you find that it doesn't run well than switch. Research shows that people won't wait for your site when it is down and they don't want to wait forever for your page to load. This can result in a loss of potential business, so even if you have to try it first, make sure it is working well at all hours of the day and night. This is important to give your site a good start.
Keep in mind that there are a lot of great free PHP web hosting sites as well as free image hosting websites, so be sure to shop around and make sure that you find the web host that is right for your needs. They are not one size fits all.
