Being active on campus involves interacting with our fellow academic community. This includes participating in events that promote diversity with a united voice and raising awareness on the values of respective organizations.

 

Multi-Cultural Greek Council

The Purpose of the Multi-Cultural Greek Council at the University of California , Berkeley shall be to unify our organizations, create a voice, and hold our members accountable for the values of scholarship, leadership, service, respect and cultural awareness as well as the values of our respective organizations. To provide a forum for discussion and debate on issues of concern of the MCGC members. To establish and promote programs that support the values of the MCGC. To act as a liaison between the MCGC, the University student body, Office of Student Life and the administration in an effort to improve our representation and relationships with said bodies. Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. is proud to be one of the founding chapters of the Multi-Cultural Greek Council.

 

RAZA

As members of the Raza community, we participate in events such as orientations, Raza Day, socials, and Raza Tuesdays. We work together with the Raza Recruitment and Retention Center on the Berkeley campus including other organizations that share our sense of diversity and interests to promote unification.

Cal Day

A one day event that takes place on the UC Berkeley campus where thousands of visitors have the opportunity to experience the diverse life at Cal . Here, future students of the campus are able to interact with various organizations and establish connections that can last a lifetime.
