Point Calculation Method

Advanced Events

The field is broken into halves, with the top half being further broken into fifths. The fencers in the top fifth receive 6 points for their school, the next fifth receives 5 points, and so on, down to the last fifth which receives 2 points. All fencers in the bottom half receive 1 point.

Novice Events

The field is broken into halves, with the top half being further broken into thirds. The fencers in the top third receive 3 points for their school, the next third receives 2 points, and the last third receives 1point. All fencers in the bottom half receive 0 points.
