Fall Conference

Dear Prospective Students!

As the nation's premiere Optometry School, Berkeley Optometry is known for its commitment to excellence in both theoretical and clinical education. Berkeley Optometry aims to instill in students not only a sense of professionalism, but a genuine passion for knowledge that makes them confident and respected Doctors of Optometry. Enrolled optometry students are trained for a broad spectrum of vision care services, and are prepared for the wide array of career options the profession has to offer. Berkeley Optometry's exceptional faculty team, world-renowned Meredith W. Morgan University Eye Center, and diverse patient population have earned it a distinguished reputation. Further distinguishing the school's reputation is its prominent Vision Science Program, which allows O.D.s with a strong interest in research to additionally pursue a PhD in Vision Science.

The Foresight Pre-Optometry Club serves to provide resources to pre-optometry students. Foremost, Foresight is committed to helping members develop a sincere appreciation for and understanding of the profession. Furthermore, it aims to provide a sense of community among those in the pursuit of the profession of optometry. These goals are achieved through a combination of social activities, workshops, presentations, and informational sessions. Foresight also provides internship opportunities geared toward professional preparation, and advocates volunteer work geared toward bettering one's community.

On behalf of Foresight and Berkeley Optometry, we sincerely hope that this event will assist you in your exploration and pursuit of the profession of Optometry. We further hope that you will gain a better understanding of what Berkeley Optometry has to offer and why its distinguished Optometric training program is your best choice.
