This Thursday, April 30 at 7 PM in 71 Evans, Grace Sperry from Cisco Systems will be coming in to talk about her past experiences with human resources, what they look for in an employee beyond the degree, and how to land that all important internship. She has experience as Human Resource Director for many big companies, such as Clorox, Sony, and Cisco Systems. Do not miss this opportunity to find out how you can get ahead of the game.
Join us for the last official FSBC event of the spring semester on Friday, May 1 at 7 PM in the Tan Oak Room in MLK! There will be food, drinks, and good company. We will be awarding prizes to our Gold, Silver, and Bronze level members for their outstanding participation and contribution. We will also watch the end of the year slide show, featuring a contest for best committee video. Dress is semi-formal, but wear comfortable clothes you can dance in! More information to follow.
Dinner in San Francisco on Saturday
Wed, 04/22/2009 - 9:48pm — ctadams90Enjoy dinner in wonderful San Francisco with the FSBC family. This Saturday, April 25 we will be going to the Osha Thai Restaurant on The Embarcadero. We will meet at the fountain on Upper Sproul at 5:30 PM and then take BART into the city. Afterward, everyone is free to explore "The City by the Bay" and head back to Berkeley on their own time. Your BART ticket is on us, but make sure to bring cash to pay for your delicious dinner. We will be meeting by the fountain on Upper Sproul and leaving promptly at 5:30 to head down to the BART together, so do not be late! Please RSVP by sending a short email to rbhandarkar@berkeley.edu so we can get a feel of the size of our group.
Golf Tournament on Friday, Cal Day on Saturday

As many of you already know, we are hosting our 3rd annual Cal Community Charity Golf Tournament this Friday, April 17 from 9:00am - 4:00pm to support the Berkeley BUiLD House. The tournament will take place at Tilden Golf Course. If you are interested in playing or know of anyone who would be, please sign up immediately! FSBC is now sponsoring any additional players that would like to participate, meaning that their game will be FREE, but they are highly encouraged to donate to the cause. Please notify any people you have already contacted with this updated information.

Cal Day
This Saturday, April 18 is UC Berkeley's annual Cal Day from 9:00am - 3:00pm. If you came to Cal Day last year, you know what spectacle is in store. With all the clubs on campus at once, Cal band playing, and lectures galore, there is no mystery as to why UC Berkeley is number one. Come visit with the new Executive Committee at the FSBC table on Upper Sproul (near Sather Gate) or in the Haas Courtyard. Nothing would make us smile more than seeing you in your FSBC shirt, spreading FSBC love.
