Mother's Day Dinner May 2nd. Gamma Phi's held a special dinner to celebrate Mother's Day, honoring those special women with great atmosphere, great company and great food! Some mothers and families traveled quite far just to come to the event; some from as far as North Carolina!
We *HEART* our Recruitment Counselors and our Panhellenic Executive Members! Eta is extremely proud of the several women from the chapter that will be recruitment counselors, or Rho Chi (PX), for the Fall Formal Recruitment 2009. These women in addition to the amazing ladies from Gamma Phi on the Panhellenic Executive Council must be disaffiated from the chapter until the end of Recruitment week, which means their lovely faces are not allowed to grace the pages of this website! We placed hearts in pictures to keep their affiliation a secret!

New Eta Website April 29. The Eta Website was given a nice upgrade with the addition of several new pages and a revamped look! A few pages are still in the works, but please look around and see what the wonderful women of Gamma Phi Beta are all about.
Welcome Spring '09 April 26th. New members:
Derby Day Champions! April 5th-10th. Derby Days is a week long philanthropy consisting of competitive events where sororities and their coaches compete to see who is the Derby Days champion. Gamma Phi had a ton of fun participating in the different events throughout the week such as the volleyball tournament, the coach's pageant show, the art competition, penny wars, and the derby dance off! Because of the die-hard effort from all the girls in the chapter to donate a few dollars, chase a few guys on campus for their hats, get a little tan while playing or watching volleyball, lending their dresses to the coaches, and showing off their dancing skills Gamma Phi Beta was named the Derby Day Champions! Not only did the ladies of GPhiB help raise money, but also had a fun time doing it! Volleyball Attendance -1st
DX World Cup April 4th. Gamma Phi had an awesome time participating in Delta Chi's philanthropy event, the DX World Cup, a 6-on-6 soccer tournament in which sororities compete against each other. Our team was able to represent Germany, and each GPhi who played or who came to watch had tons of fun!
Alumnae Brunch March 7th.Thank you to all the alumnae who were able to come to Eta, have brunch with the sisters, and meet all the new '09 babies.
