"Founded upon a rock." A powerful sisterhood keeps Gamma Phi Beta strong. Sisterhood is staying up late cramming with sisters for a final exam, eating meals together, helping a sister get ready for a special date or comforting an upset sister. Gamma Phi Beta holds a sisterhood retreat every semester in places such as Lake Tahoe and Ocean Beach in order to get to know each other, as well as the New Member class better. There are countless ways in which we form bonds that will last a lifetime. The Gamma Phi Beta sisters are a group of diverse, intellectual, talented women. Women from around the world including New Zealand and Belgium, as well as women from across the nation, ranging from Hawaii to North Carolina, are part of the Eta Chapter sisterhood. They also take part and hold leadership roles in many different activities on the UC Berkeley campus.
