I got 4 weeks off of school for Christmas vacation, so I decided to hike some of the California Coastal Trail.  I hiked from the southern end of the golden gate bridge to the Oregon border from December 21, 2004 to January 4, 2005.  A lot of the "trail" is Highway 1 and Highway 101 shoulder, so I hitched those parts.  I also hitched basically the entire way home.  Some of these photos are pretty cool, but if after viewing my pictures you still want more, you should check out The California Coastal Records Project which is both a worthy conservation cause and a massive wealth of information--recent and historical photos of every single inch of the California coast.
