Find an article about the Americas (Central or South) that discusses US policy toward the region or a country in the region. (Columbia, Venezuala, Brazil, etc.). The article must discuss some aspect of American foreign policy. Write a paragraph discussing how the policy relates to the history of US (policies toward) intervention in Central and South America.

Find an article or articles discussing the conservative expansionist view toward international trade, finance or investment. What concept of the national interest is expressed or implied in the article?

Find an article that defends, describes, or criticizes US unilateralism. Discuss the reasons stated or implied in the article for the US position. In a paragraph discuss how those reasons stem from a particular definition of the national interest and a particular view of how the condition of international anarchy impacts US foreign policy. If the article is critical of US unilateral actions, discuss the stated or implied view of the national interest that the critic holds.
