The Green Room is a demonstration room that showcases how any person can reduce their impact on the environment. Set in a residence hall room, the Green Room targets students and demonstrates how a typical college student can live more sustainably in the residence halls without drastically changing his/her lifestyle or spending copious amounts of money. The room educates visitors on "concious consumerism" and changes in behavior that lessen one's impact on the environment. The room also showcases sustainable personal care products and Energy Star appliances.
