Given that the OCF went through a bunch of changes and broke the ability for my site to access the database, I finally got around to migrating to Moveable Type 3.2 while the OCF was on yet another server.
So after about a year of brokenness, it appears this is working again. And I posted in some stuff I had written aside during the time.
