Team Training
Besides personal enhancement, each team member trains to compete in tournaments. To be successful in a tournament, each member must score within his/her own bracket. In order to earn points for the team, one must excel when competing against other players of similar skill level. With the goal of dominating the local and national tournaments in mind, the team will be focused on continuous improvement. The practice times, Mon & Wed 7:30-9pm, will be used to hone several key areas (e.g. agility, endurance, hand-eye coordination, etc.).
Recreational Play
Courts 6-9 are reserved for the handball group on Mon & Wed 9-10:30pm. During this time, the courts are open to anyone who wishes to play for recreation. In addition, recreational play is not limited to just Mon & Wed 7:30-10:30pm. One can play handball anytime as long as the courts are reserved in advance. How to Join Cal Handball
1) Purchase RSF Membership if you haven't done so already
2) Go to the following link on the RSF site
in order to complete the necessary registration forms online and pay club dues. Compared to other sport clubs, ours is only $25/semester, which covers gloves, balls, and goggles.
