Pimp My Ride!

If you've seen my Civic then fo sho' you've noticed the bling spinners.  You might also be wondering why they're on my car as I am, well,...anything but bling (except for that one Fubu shirt in my closet).

Well here's how it all went down.  A couple of months ago, I made a throwaway comment after watching MTV's Pimp My Ride about how  spinners would look cool on my Civic.  Somehow, my roommates took that statement to mean I wanted to pimp my ride.  So one night when I went to campus to study they stole my car to pimp it out as no Civic has ever been pimped out before...

"Yo!  This is Jzibit and welcome to a special edition of Pimp My Ride!  Now, Henry's always been a playa, but his wheels have never been fly... so tonight I hit up some friends, so we could pimp out his ride.

Now, Henry doesn't know we stole his car to do this so we just sent in a hot chick to keep him distracted in the library while we accessorize his car.  Our first item are these new state of the art 14" chrome spinners.  They were specially designed by Pep Boys for Henry's '98 Honda Civic."

So John, aside from the spinners, what else can we do with the exterior?

John:  Well J, I think it'll be really fly if we replace Henry's stock exhaust with this chrome one we have lying around in the kitchen.

Jzibit:  Your right John, that is fly!

Ok Moty, now we know Henry's an engineer so that means his car has got to have the best state of the art electronics.  What'd you got in mind for his car?

Moty:  Well no engineer's car is complete without some LCD screens.  But we didn't put in just one LCD, or two LCDs, but FOUR LCDs!  Now, not only will Henry's backseat passengers be able to enjoy some entertainment, but also the one's driving behind him as well.

Jzibit:  But wait, aren't those just picture cutouts of LCD screens?

Moty:  Well...yeah.  But knowing Henry, he wouldn't notice the difference anyways.

Jzibit:  Good point.

So Kyle, a playa like Henry has got to have some accessories in his car.  What'd you got in store for him?

Well, no pimpin' ride is complete without some fuzzy dice...and we got some big ones for him.  We also added a few horsepower by adding the "Powered By Honda" sticker to the front window.  But the most important accessory is Princess Leia.  Now Henry can stop complaining about being single cuz he'll always have a hot chick by his side.

Alright, Lance.  It looks like we got some good stuff going on for the car...but it still feels like its missing something.  What do you think will really put this pimpin' over the top?

No doubt about it J, the one thing that this car is missing is a spoiler.  And not just any spoiler, but a spoiler made out of the finest cardboard this side of the Mississippi! And just to make sure the spoiler fits Henry's colorful personality, we're going to have it held up by these colorful cereal boxes...Now Henry's car will REALLY stand out.

Henry, courtesy of West Coast Customs, welcome to your new ride!

(We can't wait to his face when he sees this thing).

Sophia:  "So Henry, what kind of car do you drive?"

Me:  "Oh nothing special.  Its just a normal Honda Civ....what the hell!?"

Surprise!!!!!!  Your car's been Pimped!

Check out your brand new ride Henry.  You're now riding in style with a cardboard spoiler and chrome spinners.

But don't forget to check out the interior.  4 LCD screens, fuzzy dice, and Princess Leia.  What more could a guy want?

How about a tennis racket holder in the trunk for the tennis player in all of us?

Me:  Wow!  I can't believe this!  This is the best gift EVER!

Check out the downward force generated by the custom spoiler.  Who said engineers don't have any practical skillz!?

Thanks West Coast, for Pimpin' My Ride!
