Barstow

On the way back from Vegas we got snowed in.  Yes, snow in California...who'd a thunk it?  We stayed in Barstow, whose nickname is apparently "The Ghettoest City in the World".  Here are some pictures from our adventures.

If you look closely, you'll see a group of people just standing at the doorway to the McDonald's.  We had to make a quick getaway when one of them started coming after us.

Above the deadbolt in our hotel room door was a sign reminding us to lock the door....For Our Protection!

Asians?  In Barstow?  Now I've seen everything!
