Sheng Huang
President
The president is responsible for presiding at all executive board and general
membership meetings, appointing heads of committees to carry out the business
of the organization, recommending actions as deemed necessary for the benefit
of the organization, overseeing the chapter as a whole, and performing all
other duties incident to the office.
Grace Lin | Anthony Lim
VPs of Internal-External Affairs
The VP of Internal-External Affairs is responsible for facilitating communication and upkeeping a strong relationship between board members. The VP of Internal-External Affairs is also
responsible for hosting community-centric projects outside the organization.
Nathan Siu
VP of Professional Development & Webmaster
The VP of Professional Development is responsible for establishing and maintaining
networks with professionals for professional
development events hosted by the IABC UCB Chapter, updating records of
contacts, contacting and communicating with professionals, and
organizing professional events.
The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining the website and updating
the design and content as necessary.

VPs of Special Events
The VP of Special Events is responsible for brainstorming presentations
and meeting topics, planning events in addition to the general meetings,
delegating responsibilities for the aforementioned events, and performing
all other duties incident to the office.
Christina Lee | Ying Shen
VPs of Communications
The VP of Communications is responsible for the publicity of IABC as an
organization and for events (large, small, and medium scale), designing
promotional materials, positioning each event, creating a PR Plan and
timeline for publicizing events (email lists, facebook, flyers), delegating
responsibilities to each officer accordingly (coordinate Sproul Plaza
tabling hours, flyering, etc.), and performing all other duties incident
to the office.
Stephanie Chang | Sara Zhang
VPs of Finance
The VP of Finance is responsible for keeping records of the chapter's
receipts and expenditures, submitting financial reports to the executive
board, and disbursing all funds incident to the operation of the
organization. VP of Finance is also the organization’s liaison to
companies and restaurants in the case of corporate and food sponsorships, as well as
obtaining corporate sponsorships and planning all fundraising events for IABC.
COMMITTEES 2007-2008
Communications Committee
The Communications Committee, under the guidance of the co-VPs of Communications, is responsible for
promoting club events as well as for recruiting new members. A Communications Committee member reaches
out to students who are interested in joining the corporate world, those who want to learn about the inner
workings of a company, those who have not heard of our club, and those who want to pursue a major dealing
with the communications aspect of business. Some tasks a Committee member is responsible include, but are
not limited to, flyering and chalking around campus, creating flyer designs, and collaborating with other
Committee members to come up with marketing strategies.
