	Resume Critique and Workshop December 3, 2007	Need help on your resume? IABC is hosting a resume workshop along with the Cal Career Center to provide information on topics such as building a appealing resume and give feedback on your resumes. (This event is exclusively for paid IABC members)
	2nd General Meeting November 7, 2007	Past alumni from IABC (who are now either enrolled in Haas or majoring in Mass Communications) will speak about their experience of their current majors and lives at Cal at the meeting. Come hungry because there will be Refreshments!!
	NBC11 Speaker Panel October 11, 2007	A speaker panel from the local NBC Bay Area TV news station NBC11 will come to speak with students about the media career and share their experience! Come to learn about the speakers' professions and meet the professionals

	Ms. Business November 30, 2006	Come join us at this professional competition to support our Ms. Business representative. Segments include: talent show, elevator pitches, mock date, and questionnaire. Event begins at 6pm, Anderson Auditorium in Haas. Buy tickets on Sproul - FBLA/P4 Table or HAAS Courtyard, HBSA Table. Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $7 at the door.

	MBA Admissions Seminar October 25, 2006	Presented by Kaplan: "MBA Admissions Seminar". A representative from Kaplan gave his insight on how preparing to apply to Business school. He discussed the application process, the GMAT, and much more.

	Resume Critique May 5, 2006	David Kippen (VP of Global Branding, TMP Worldwide), Preston Lewis (Director of Talent and partnerships, Bonfire Communications), and Molly Walker (Walker Communications) gave useful tips on interview, resume, and online job search techniques as well as revised our resumes in small groups.
	Gap Tour May 5, 2006	Participants took a BART ride to the Gap Headquarters near the Embarcadero where Jill Nash shared the career pathway that led her to her current position as GAP's Vice President of Communications.
	Guide to Networking and Career Search (meeting)	Former president Katherine Ortiz introduced the exclusive membership benefits that are tailored to the advancement of each student's career, including internships, full-time jobs, networking possibilities, and more. She also introduced the rest of the board, who described their responsibilities for IABC and the positions open for application.
	Luncheon with David Kippen	David Kippen and a few IABC members met at Spenger's Fresh Fish Grotto, where he discussed his career as well as the techniques for breaking into the field of communications and locating professional resources. He further tailored his advice toward each individual student by suggesting the most direct and efficient route for accomplishing each goal.
	Luncheon with Vivian Auslander	Vivian Auslander and a few IABC members met at La Mediterranee, where she described the field of communications and her career pathway. She shared samples of her distribution work, answered questions about careers, and collected each student's contact information for future internship recommendations.
	Speaker Utilizing IABC.com (meeting)	Joseph Ugalde (VP of Marketing and Communications, IABC) demonstrated how to navigate through the IABC website in order to best utilize the vast student membership resources.
	Speaker Warren Bickford (meeting) March 16, 2006	Warren Bickford, the Vice President of Gryphon Reputation Management in Canada and the Chair of IABC, generously spoke at our first meeting about the early stages of his career, his rise in the communications field, and his experiences as a professional communicator. After highlighting the importance of IABC in his career, he answered student's questions about the proper etiquette for communicating with professionals in any medium.
