Ide@Berkeley

Welcome to the Berkeley home page of James Ide!

I am currently an undergraduate student enrolled at UC Berkeley and planning to major in EECS. I do and am occasionally available for consulting work in Java SE and EE and (X)HTML/CSS, and am proficient in basic Python and C programming as well. Currently I am certified by Sun Microsystems as a Sun Certified Java Programmer and Java Developer.

Useful Tools

Often during software configuration or development (especially debugging), it is helpful to have testing tools that can be used to narrow down a problem by either pointing it out or acting as a sanity check. Other times, it is convenient to be able to perform simple tasks for which it is easy to code a program, but not worth the time. Below are a collection of small utilities (some unrelated to programming) that I or others have developed; please feel free to make use of them.

Software Development Resources

Reference documentation and tutorials are essential to application development, and as so, I have compiled a concise collection of helpful links. Some of these teach best practices, while others are merely references to APIs.

Miscellany

Sometimes, bunnies are awake. Other times, they are 眠い.
