Welcome

I run a language and career enrichment program in the Office of Workforce Development. I am also a lecturer in the Departments of African American Studies & Psychology. I believe that working at Berkeley is one of the greatest privileges in my career. This site is devoted to sharing information about what I find in Berkeley including events and opportunities to get involved.

My Writing

  • On this site, you will also find some of my writing. Most of my writing to date focuses on my research interest of reducing barriers to mental health care access for African -Americans.
  • I also write about my mother. I was writing about all sorts of other things and she kept saying. "Write something about me." When I took her advice was the first time I got published.
  • My campus fantasy is to start a writing group where people encourage each other to keep writing. Maybe someone will help me start it. :-) --It's coming SOON!
