Providing a thorough introduction to the stock markets, “Introduction to Stocks” will offer students of all majors an alternative to the conventional finance or business class. This DeCal course aims to help students develop the ability and knowledge to make decisions with their own personal finances, focusing on individual stock investing and trading. Through uses of PowerPoint, exercises, simulations, and other supporting materials, this course will help students gain a better understanding for real-world skills and knowledge for investing in the stock market.
