Summer's OVER

AHHH!!! Summer's over already!! I started school on Monday (the 25th). School's actually pretty good so far..I think i might acutally enjoy it this year. I have great teachers. They're all very nice and I also have a GOOD spanish teacher!!!! My math teacher is very strict but I think..and I've heard..that's she's a good teacher. I'm in Miss Wanger's Family group! I think that's going to be neat. She was my composition teacher last year in 7th grade and she was my favorite so I think it'll be fun too. I'm have to go eat dinner now..I'll write more later when I get a chance.

Banana Mush

I tried something new today. I chopped up banana until it was in tiny bits and then I stuck it in the micrwave for 40 sec. Then, I took it out and put a slice of cheese on top of it and put it back in for another 20 sec. After that, you just mix it all up until it looks like baby food. If you do it wrong or let it sit too long before you eat it(because the cheese hardens), it sort of clumps together a little bit like tapioca pudding( that's what happened the second time I made it). So anyways..I took some pictures of my mush before I ate it..you can click "more" to see it.

This is what the mush looked like!!!!!!! yes, I know, it looks gross but it doesn't taste that bad!...unless you have too much at one time..

Here's a close-up. Does anyone feel sick? I do..I had 2 bowls of that stuff..well I didn't eat all of it though.

Messiah Concert

wow..i haven't blogged for a while. exactly 1 week and 4 days since i last blogged. haha. so today i went to this Messiah concert thing with my parents and my cousin Jocelyn. It was all the way in San Fransisco..i guess it's not that far..only 40-50 minutes...WITHOUT TRAFFIC!!!! There was sooo much traffic on the bay bridge..everyone was just sitting in their car holding $2(for toll) and waiting in line to pay! it was really bad! I took some pictures of all the traffic and everything..hehe..but i probably won't be able to upload them until tomorrow. ok so we left the house at about 4:00 and the concert was supposed to start at 5:00 so since we figured it should only take us 40 min to get there (according to map quest) and we will still have 20 minutes extra..plus you still have to find a parking spot. so it should've been exactly 5:00 by the time we got in..but nope..we got stuck in traffic and didn't get there until 6:30..haha..we've never really been that late to anything as far as I can remember...but anyways...so we finally got there..(to Saint Mary Cathedral-it's a really place..kinda creepy too..they had these huge statues of people/something else in the building..) we still had to find parking..and the parking lot was packed!! there were absolutely no more spots left...so we just kept driving around and we finally found a parking spot about 3 blocks away in front of these apartments..we were about to park but there were all these black people there like making little hand motions telling us to leave and one person yelled "no! no! you cant park here!" I dont know why they didnt want anyone to park there..it was just along the street..but anyways..so we ended up parking a little further down the street and we just walked up to the cathedral. so we got in by 6:30(at the intermission) and the concert was supposed to end at 7:00 but it ended up ending at 7:30.

ok now the funny part..they had 2,200 people there attending the concert but there was only 1 womens restroom and they only had 4 stalls i think..so there were really long lines for the bathrooms. You have to go downstairs to get there and the line was all the was from the restroom to the top of the stairs..really long line...so we decided to go during the concert when there's less people. When we got there, there was still a little line but not very long so we decided to wait. I was just looking around and then I realized that the stalls have no toilet paper..there's a little table next to the line and there are 2 rolls of toilet paper there. You have to get your own toilet paper and then wait in line to use the stall.. it was actually really funny:

Me: look! you have to get your own toilet paper in line!!! hahaha!!!
Jocelyn: no you don't..it's for people to blow their nose.
Me: no it's not! see look..everyone in line is holding their own toilet paper!
Jocelyn: eeeww!! that's gross!! let's leave..this is worse than berkeley!!

It was really funny...seeing that line of people and everyone's just standing there holding toilet paper..haha! We got out and i told her that she should've taken a picture of that (because Jocelyn likes bringing her camera everywhere and taking pictures of random things just for fun or to post on her blog). we were just going to go back in to take a picture when my mom came down and told us not too...hehe..yeah that was my day! oh..we went to chevy's for dinner after the concert..yup! hey i actually said a lot!! wow!! okay..guess I'll go now..I'll be back tomorrow or the day after to post the pictures.
