Here's some shots from Arlene & Ulysses' wedding in Sausalito,
CA. Note that I only took two pictures the entire time
I was there. Considering I have a five-year-old digital camera, I
thought it best to just get images from other people's (spiffier)
cameras afterward, as the quality would be far superior to anything
mine could produce.

This is one of those times where you might
want to have a screen resolution of 1280x1024. This is a panoramic
view of the bay; the result of GIMPing my two scenery shots
together. Notice the thick fog rolling in from the ocean, as it
heads toward the east bay. Also imagine what fun it was for me to
drive up a hill this high....

Here's a shot of Ulysses and Arlene cutting
cake. I was actually a little surprised that the cake was just
plain white, with no frills of frosting or anything decorative. But
it was yummy, which I suppose is all that really matters in the end.

And here's a kiss for show that they did to
get us to stop clanging our glasses.
 |
So instead of throwing rice down the aisle
after the ceremony, they passed out little things of bubble water
and asked us to blow bubbles. Naturally, this act carried on
throughout dinner and afterward too....(pictured in this shot,
from left to right: Ana, Gail, Yolanda, Shirley)
and now for shots of people I actually knew
it's a bit strange being part of the "friends" crowd at a
wedding (as opposed to the "family" one), since you know
only a select number of people. Well in my case, it was just the
people I went to Berkeley with....

Lijue, Shirley, Arlene, and Yolanda pose
before Arlene got rushed off for massive wedding portraits with
family members. Lucky for the rest of us, we were served wine and
cheese (and other food items too) while this happened, so at least
we were entertained. =P

Same people as before, but now there's Eiman
crouching in front, and no Arlene. At first, I didn't recognise
Eiman, since he had shaved his head only two weeks before the
wedding; last I remembered, he had a full head of hair. His story:
one day while walking through Seattle, he felt like getting his head
shaved. So he did.
