So it's spring break officially! Yay! (can you believe how quickly the first ten weeks of this semester have gone?) Anyway, to celebrate having survived thus far, Nam (fellow junkfood junkie) and I had planned on raiding the Cheesecake Factory for a few weeks. As an added bonus, I finally got to meet this Mike dude I'd heard so much about since he had finally returned from London. So this is pretty much how it went...

Mike, lacking the necessary hair to headbang, apparently seeks to borrow Nam's hair...I wonder what the people sitting around us on BART were thinking...

So upon arrival, we notice that the Cheesecake Factory was pretty full (never mind that someone farted on the elevator); the wait for non-cheesecake food would've been an insane amount of time, so we wandered off and ended up at some place called California Pizza Kitchen which had some pretty good lemonade and even better pizza. But I was most impressed by their advertisement along the street:

Even better were the straw wars between Mike and Nam:

Yeah, that. Anyhow, afterward, we headed back to the Cheesecake Factory. Along the way back, we noticed a ton of limos, as if there were some sort of limo driver's convention in the city that night or something. Some were more illegally blocking intersecions than others.... Anyway, on to cheesecake. Initially, we considered buying a whole cheesecake, but for health reasons, decided against it and just bought slices of tiramisu (I think that's how it's spelled). Since it was raining outside and all the indoor seating was full, we headed downstairs underneath this big gigantic Macy's where they had seating. Nam saw this little kitty beer display at a Wolfgang Puck's and had to stop off there.

This is the table. In the background, you can see a beer display with a little kitty. I think it was an ad for some sort of Japanese import beer or something. Anyhow, Nam was giving Mike (behind the camera) some sort of glare, and I was just out of it, also trying to prove that I'm not always smiling like a giddy little shneka...

And here are Mike and Nam doing their best impersonations of the "Super Lucky Cat" (center) in the display window...

So in the end, the cheesecake was good (somehow, they were amazed that I ate all of mine...hmmm...wonder what they would have done if they witnessed that one time Ted, Larry and I devoured a whole cheesecake...), the weather was generous, and the conversations heard on BART coming back scandalous. Between eliciting strange looks from random people on BART and violating "elevator etiquette" it was a fun and yummy trip.
