Ah, the joys of Presidents Day - no classes, it's a holiday, and all is well in the world. The weather was nice for a change, and little high schoolers are off for a whole week with their winter breaks. I don't get that - what happened to the whole Presidents Day week off thing at Berkeley here?

Anyhow, Lily and her little friend Lisa visited Berkeley. Why? Good question. After spending some time Sunday down at the farm visiting our good buddy Donald, they made it up to Berkeley and dragged a bunch of us who knew Lily out to meet them. It was amusing.

Eventually, after food near Crack Alley and all that, we visit Holming's dorm room because little high schoolers they were, Lily and Lisa wanted to see what it was like. Actually, just Lisa.

Here Holming shows off the secret to survival in a world of such little sleep: Liquid Protein! Just one bottle a day will keep you strong and healthy!

And here we have Holming, Joanne (Lisa's friend?), Lily, and Lisa pretending to be happy

And this is me, with Lily and Holming, because Lisa wanted to take a picture with my dcam...and because Lily wanted a picture with me in it.

And after all that, I was to meet Masato at the I-House to smack down his computer. They came along just to say hi. Holming stayed with me there to play around in Masato's tiny-ass I-House room. There was this thing which was reminiscent of a dartboard - just a bullseye with velcro balls that get stuck on it. We were entertained for hours as Masato's computer was installing itself. Toward the end, we got a little bored and started to try to "pin the nose on the Happy":

And here's a bay view from the I-House
