So I've been playing EECS Softball (a graduate-student league of drunken geeks) for a year now -- Fall, Spring, and now, Summer -- on a team with a bunch of my labmates. Historically, our team (the aptly named Loose Cannons) would usually go undefeated during the regular season, only to be beaten in the playoffs. Well, as of this summer, we finally got it reversed and won the championship (for the second time in the past year). Here's a team shot from after the game taken from Sunil's d-cam:

Here's a larger-than-usual attendance for our team this summer, but isn't all that big, if you consider that we merged two teams into one for the summer season. Front and center, you'll see Sarah and Viv toting the championship "trophy."

And here's a close-up of the above mentioned trophy. It's geeky enough: a keyboard rearranged to spell "EECS Softball Champ" with a glove on top. Oh yeah, and it's covered with glitter too.
