woohoo
Wednesday, June 30th, 2004i got a b+ on my last philosophy paper. woohoo. tomorrow is the last day of class. man, i really hope i finish it well and will be really glad never to have to write philosophy papers again =P
i’ve been thinking a lot on what i should do next semester, in terms of work/school/clubs. here’s the current outlook. the school goals are:
1) finish everything i need for a cog sci degree and finish well
2) enjoy life and school and make friends (this is more important than academics)
3) pursue personal dreams and interests
4) make enough money to pay rent
5) build for the future…
eeps, that sounds kind of like a lot, but not really, or is it =P
here’s the plan (with the goals it matches:
classes: cgs100 (1), psy128 (1, 3, 5), art class (3, 5), bboy decal (2, 3)
clubs/groups: movement (2,3,5), peer advising (2,3,5)
work: …. the big question… must satisfy 3,4,5 and allow for 1 and hopefully satisfy 2…
i guess 4 isn’t as important as 1 and 5, but i don’t know… it’s been a goal for a really long time and now that we’ve moved to a cheaper place i really think i can do it. just gotta find a 10-12hr/wk job that pays at least 10 an hr and lets me work on sundays =P…
some cool places i’d like to work in: 1) nice restaurant 2) furniture/decore store 3) museum/gallery/art store 4) design company 5) a tutoring center/school with little kids…
i was looking at the sdsu art teaching program and it turns out i satisfy both psych reqs (knew that human development class could pay off academically too!), i also satisfy their drawing reqs… that’s like almost a third of the undergrad stuff. i don’t know if i’m going to go there but it’s cool knowing that the classes transfer =P
yeah.. just some ideas…. dunno….. more thoughts later…. sleepy/davidson/frege time now….. nights
