Cheap Domains
Tuesday, March 28th, 2006Registering for a cheap web domain might be the solution. I’ve been thinking of moving this website to a faster place. dreamhost has been fantastic. I love the quick response and automatic setups, but yahoo keeps sending these $4/year deals and for domains (not hosting) that might be the way to go. If it’s anything more than that, I might as well keep all my stuff with dreamhost.
Maybe I can host even things for this address on my dreamhost account, maybe just copy everything over to my dreamhost space and then start a new domain for it. But my only fear about moving this website is that I may lose my search engine status and refs, especially since I’ve kept this site going for many years now. Maybe offer only one link to the new site? Sill that loses many searches. Anyone with experience have a suggestion?
