End of the Year Pictures, May 1998
Two pictures of the roommates of Building 8, Room 306. Taken on move out day, May 23,
1998.
Here are some more end of the year pictures that I recently got from Jack. They are of
waterfights, dinners, and other exciting moments.
Jennifer and Christine, Spring 1998
They went and took one of these pictures (they come with 50 pictures), so Jenny gave me
one. Since I had it in my wallet and a scanner ready, I digitized it. I hope they don't
mind. Both Jenny and Christine now attend UC Berkeley. (19.1 KB)
Berkeley
Another excellent view from atop the fire trail. This one is at a slightly
different angle than the first one. It shows the city of Berkeley as well
as the Golden Gate bridge, right after sunset. (37.4 KB)
Clark Kerr Building
Eight Third Floor at the DC #1, April 1998
Look at us now! My new floor this semester all in the DC eating delicious food (haha).
From left to right: April, Natalia, me, Srikant, and Tommy. Don't we look spiffy doo?

Clark Kerr Building
Eight Third Floor at the DC #2, April 1998
An expanded picture of our floor during dinner one fine night in April. We're all just
chillin' in front of the camera (the pictures were for some photo scavenger hunt competition
between floors; we won second). Clockwise from bottom: Mariko, Pat, Jack, me, April,
Eric, and Jeanah. (49.4 KB)
Ice Cream Party
at Ghiradelli Square! (February, 1998)
Wow we got the Earthquake sundae at Ghiradelli Square ($19.06). This would be Lilian, me, Lisbeth, and Mika. Lilian's brother drove us all and took
the picture. It was raining really hard that night so we are all wet. And it
was extremely windy as well. My umbrella broke that night. But the Ice Cream was
delicious, mmmmmmm! (32.8 KB)
Me down
by the River, March 1998
This was taken when Neil and I went hiking over Spring Break. This little
stream is in South County (Orange Co.) and I think it's really nice because
it's sort of like what Orange County was like way back when. (59.1 KB)
Me on a
Tree, March 1998
This was taken on that same trip. This view sort of reminded me of that one scene
in Jurassic Park II when the dinosaurs were walking in the river. Being the daredevil,
I climbed to the top of the fallen tree to have this taken of me. (80.4 KB)
Caryn and me at Convention, April 1998
Caryn, my Kiwanis mentor/advisor, and me at this year's Key Club Convention
in Santa Clara, CA (April 18, 1998). I surprised her and she was angry at me
for not telling her I was going, but it was okay in the end. (47.2 KB)
Katie and me at Convention, April 1998
One of the reasons for me to go back to Key Club convention this past year was to
see my successor, Katie (Div. 4W LTG), win the Number One LTG
award. It is the most prestigious award the District gives to Lieutenant Governors.
She did such a good job! Congratulations. (40.9 KB)
Stupid Neil
jumping around, March 1998
While we were hiking, I took a couple of nice landscape shots of the surrounding
environment. Neil wanted to act childish (well he does go to Stanford
and lived on an all-guy floor) and jump into the picture. Doesn't he look so retarded?
Just kiddin' Neil. (43.6 KB)
Neil in a Field
of Flowers, March 1998
On the same trail, there were a couple of areas where the flowers grew taller than we were.
Neil is standing in between them in this nice picture of him taking his time going down
the hill. (59.6 KB)
View from my side of
the room, people studying, Spring 1998
Wow look at Jack and Eric hard at work! Jack is my roommate, and Eric is a floormate.
That desk that he's working on is the fourth desk in our room (we're in a triple). This is
what my room looks like from my little "corner" of the room, that area on the extreme left
is my bed (I'm on the top bunk). (45.7 KB)
Pictures of my room, Spring semester 1998
Well these two pictures are basically the same, just like different poses. Both feature
Jack and Eric by Jack's desk and his mondo-computer (PII-300MMX 128KB RAM and like 9GB HD
with a 19" monitor [whoa! - remember, this was early 1998!])...
