Investment Objective
The Lao Investment Club seeks long-term capital appreciation.
Principal Investment Strategies
The Lao Investment Club's principal investment strategies include:
1) Normally investing primarily in common stocks.
2) Normally investing in companies the club believes offer the potential for consistent earnings or revenue growth.
3) Focusing investments in large-sized companies, but may also invest in medium and smaller companies.
4) Investing in domestic and foreign issuers.
5) Using fundamental analysis of each issuer's financial condition and industry position and market and economic
conditions to select investments.
6) Investing regularly and for the long term.
7) Reinvesting all dividends.
8) Keeping up with economic news and other developments that may affect the value of club portfolios.
Principal Investment Risk
The Lao Investment Club is subject to the following principal investment risks:
1) Stock markets are volatile and can decline significantly in response to adverse issuer, political, regulatory, market
or economic developments. Different parts of the market can react differently to these developments.
2) Foreign markets can be more volatile then the U.S. market due to increased risks of adverse issuer, political,
regulatory, market or economic developments and can perform differently from the U.S. market.
3) The value of an individual security or particular type of security can be more volatile than the market as a whole
and can perform differently from the value of the market as a whole. The value of securities of smaller issuers can
be more volatile than that of larger issuers.
