Language Skits – Learning Hmong and Lao phrases

Discussion on our fluency and empowerment/disempowerment in fluency (or lack of)

Big Sib, Lil Sib Program: ACTIVITIES this Week!
Bowling at Albany Bowl this Thursday
Where: Albany Bowl
When: Thursday the 17th, 9:00pm-11:30pm or later
Who: Anybody (bring friends)
How Much: $7 for shoes and 2 games w/ Cal ID
Meet at the BART 8:30pm

Other activities:
Paradise Hills Concert this Friday 3/15, brought to you by Romy and Yer!
Concert starts at 7:30p, $8 all ages
Where: Balazo Gallery, 2183 Mission St, SF 94110; 1.5 blocks from BART
From Bky, take BART to 16th St and Mission (Fremont train & transfer at MacArthur); round trip: $6.70
Call up Yer to meet up at the BART if ya wanna go as a group 916-524-4004

Laotian Prince and Laotian Artwork

Last Th, in Richmond, LASR members (Vida, Anna, May, Jerry, Romy) met Laotian prince
He now lives in Paris, France and is in US to promote artwork and awareness of Laotian culture
Prince, an artist, will be displaying his artwork throughout month of April @ SF Asian Art Museum
A new exhibit from Prince each week, so be sure to check it out Romy will be sending out more info on trips to the museum so we can go as a group!
Also, the Prince will be decorating a Lao temple in Richmond so he’d like to have assistance
