I had dinner with Katie, Louise, and Sandy at Calzone's in
North Beach. I ordered chicken filled ravioli. It's funny how I
always get annoyed when I see small portions but it ends up being
the right amount when I finish where I'm not too full.

I'm going to try Michelangelo Caffe next time I'm in North Beach,
per Mark's recommendation. Anyway, we went clubbing at the Rouge
afterwards, fun fun. Haven't been clubbing in almost a year so it
was about time.

I can't figure out if I'm sick or if I have allergies. Bleh.
But I love how it's warm enough that I can wear dresses and skirts
to work everyday.
4.28.04
It's extremely frustrating when an over compulsive person
loses something. Everything is organized in your own little weird
way that nothing should be difficult to find. Gah, so why can't
I find my paycheck? I spent a week stressing and searching all over
for it. Finally, I jokingly told Mark it's prolly in the garbage
can because it's the only place I haven't searched yet. So he bravely
looked inside for me and voila it was there. Gah! =p
4.27.04
Heehee, I just found a cute black skirt that I haven't worn
since the beginning of high school. Woohoo for recycled fashion.
4.26.04
I like how I don't have to put a lot of effort to hangout
with friends. Opportunities just land in my lap. =p
4.25.04
I'm gonna subscribe to Lucky
Magazine. Look for their special inserts where it's only $15
for two years.
4.24.04
I had lunch with Cami and Emily at La
Note in Berkeley. If you ever get a chance to go, request for
outdoor seating; it's much nicer. I ordered their Sour Cream Coffee
Cake which is made with walnuts, brown sugar, and cocoa swirls.
I also got some Chicken Sausages.

Pretty fiberglass hearts
will decorate the streets of San Francisco soon.

Next Thursday, April 29, is the Dining
Out for Life event where participating restaurants donate 25%
of their proceeds to the Center for AIDS Services. Please help out!
Here is a list
of East Bay restaurants.

Here's an article
about Urban Outfitters from Business Week.

I love walking around San Francisco. You get to see things
up close where as if you were in a car it just zooms by within a
blink. Anyway, this
guy is trying to walk all the streets in San Francisco.
4.19.04
So my coworker was asking me how girly I was, 1 being a tomboy
and 10 a girly princess. I said 7 but I'm not really sure. It depends
on the situation; I can be pretty laid back and chill or super girly.
4.18.04
I'm so sore and I can't figure out why my arms and shoulders
are sore. Prolly from falling and pushing myself off the ground.
It's a good kind of sore where you know you worked your muscles.
Everyone gambled at the casinos and I window shopped around the
touristy stores. There was a cute snowboarding t-shirt I wanted
to get Crissy that said Snow Bunny. We had dinner at In and Out
in Davis on our way back. Did you know you can order fries animal
style?
4.17.04
Bleh, I need to remember to get a good night's sleep before
a long trip. Boarding was fun overall. Mmm, it was scary cuz I couldn't
figure how to stop. Everytime I went straight down I would go too
fast and freak out. Heavenly seemed like a nice resort and since
it was so late in the season it wasn't very crowded. I even got
to see falling snow. Brrr, there's no way I could live anywhere
where it snows. During lunch, my hands got so cold they started
throbbing. Veronica has a pretty board; I like how it has a chiyogami
pattern on it. If you're afraid of heights, going on lifts is a
big no no cuz you're on this wobbly chair with your feet dangling.
Hehe, thanks Byron for all the snowboarding tips and thanks to Veronica
and Ken for planning the trip!
4.16.04
I had lunch with Leslie and Mike at Cafe Durant and ordered
yummy strawberry and peach crepes. Leslie still has short, spiky
hair, with red streaks. Mike is looking skinnier than usual prolly
from all the dancing he does. Gah, it takes courage to wear a bright
pink polo and yellow trucker hat. =p

OK Katie just convinced me to sign up for Bay
to Breakers. It's going to be on Sunday, May 16 at 8:00 am.
Hehe, what have I gotten myself into? Must start training. I know
I can walk the entire course easily but I wanna see if I can jog
the entire race, a total of 7.46 miles. Part of the coure is on
an incline at a steep 11.15% grade between Fillmore and Steiner.
Here's a map
of the course. Wish me luck!

Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma Mia, does it show again?
My my, just how much I’ve missed you
Yes, I’ve been brokenhearted
Blue since the day we parted
Why, why did I ever let you go?
Mamma Mia, now I really know,
My my, I could never let you go.
Haha, I took Crissy to go watch Mamma
Mia and we totally loved it. It's a cute little story about
a girl about to get married on a small Greek Island and wanting
to know who her father is. One of the actors that played one of
the possible dads reminded me of Quentin Tarantino and the mom reminded
me of Michelle Pfeiffer. I think I would've liked the musical better
if I was an Abba fan. Unfortunately, I only recognize the Dancing
Queen song.
Anyway, we had lunch at Puccini
& Pinetti (not the greatest Italian food but it was close to
the theater) and went shopping before. American Eagle is having
a clearance sale.

The Chronicle just released its annual list of the Top
100 Bay Area Restaurants. Check it out. I've been to five: Ebisu,
Foreign Cinema, House of Prime Rib, Koi Palace, and Yank Sing.

Favorite Songs of the Moment:
Maroon 5 - This Love
Seether Featuring Amy Lee - Broken
Switchfoot - Meant To Live
Three Days Grace - (I Hate) Everything About You

I love this new website I discovered, Daily
Candy. It has cool, short articles about everything from Drinks
& Food, Beauty, Fashion, and Arts & Culture. What really
draws me to the sites are the colorful, hip watercolorings.

4.09.04
I finally got to try Barney's
Gourmet Hamburgers. Richard treated me to a belated birthday
lunch. He's off to med school soon. Poor guy, has to wear a suit
for work. Anyway, I ordered the Maui Waui Burger which has yummy
pineapples. Haha, I'm such a messy eater.
4.08.04
It's really important to surround yourself with people that
have a healthy perspective of you. I learned that the hard way.
One of my exes would constantly tear me apart, critizing everything
I did. It's crucial to have that support network, where people give
you words of encouragement and know that if you're determined enough
you can accomplish anything.
It might seem like we're in this mad corporate race, where we're
constantly competing against each other. Who works at which large,
prestigious company? Who makes more money? Tell me, what's the point
in making all this money when you don't have time to spend it. What's
the point of making all this money when you're miserable with your
job and hate the world. In the end, all that matters is how I feel
and if I am satisfied with what I've completed.
4.07.04
Love me
if you Dare is this French movie and for some reason it reminds
me Amelie, mebbe cuz the characters seem whimsical and playful.
It's a love story about two childhood friends who dare each other
to do mischievous things.

4.06.04
The legislation for immigration
is messed up. I remember the Cuevas kids from Moreau.
4.05.04
Woot, I might go snowboarding for the first time on April
17-18. I'm so excited; I'm just gonna borrow Crissy's gear. I hope
the snow's ok but it's supposed to snow that weekend. Woohoo.
4.04.04
Damn, finding parking in SF is an ordeal. Louise is seriously
the Queen of Parallel Parking and she drives a huge SUV. Anyway,
Yusing had a BBQ in SF today and I asked Louise to come along with
me to go boy hunting (hehe). Plus, it's a bit intimidating when
you only know one person at a social get-together. It was cool meeting
new people and some of Yusing's friends are hilarious. One guy has
been to South Beach four times already the past year to "catch
up on his reading," or whatever that's supposed to mean. Another
guy said classes got in his way of partying during college, haha,
but on the flip side he used to teach Sunday school to little kids.
Everyone has an interesting secret side to them it seems.
Afterwards, I took Louise to some key areas in Golden Gate Park
because she's never been. We went to the Japanese Tea Garden which
is free after 5 pm. We wandered around the Music concourse area
where people were tango'ing and visited the Shakespeare Garden,
a quaint little garden with a pretty sun dial. Lastly, we stopped
by the Conservatory
of Flowers where the last scene from Hearts and Souls with Robert
Downey was filmed.

I'm thinking of chopping ten inches of my hair in August
and donating it to Locks of
Love, an organization that creates wigs for financially disadvantaged
children going through chemo. Thanks Cami for all the info.
4.02.04
I went to Raleighs with some of my coworkers for some pool
and drinking. I suck at pool but it makes me want to get a pool
table so I can practice and surprise people. I'm willing to shell
out $1000 for a good one, any suggestions? Anyway, I can't believe
Tim and Raph finished three pitchers of beer. I turned bright red,
of course from the pear cider. I ordered a yummy French onion soup
and semi-watched the Giants and A's game. Woohoo, go A's. It's sad
that Tim might be leaving us soon, and I can't believe that he might
buy a house plus ten acres for less than $300,000 in Oregon.
Ironically, Crissy was also at Raleighs for her friend's going
away party but on the other side because I totally didn't see her
at all.
4.01.04
Am I weird? I really want roller skates. Heehee. Yes, you
heard right. Skates not blades! I used to skate all the time and
I miss it. Must relive childhood. And in a few weeks I'm gonna have
a long ass concrete driveway. Skating is supposed to tone your tush
anyway.
