Airport: San Francisco International
Airport and Chicago O'Hare International Airport
I usually get horribly air sick and can't manage to eat anything
during a flight except possibly a bread roll. However, I took some
motion sickness pills and was perfectly fine. I ended up watching
Count of Monte Cristo twice. The lady who
sat next to me had 6 beers and when the flight attendant asked her
what she wanted for breakfast, she said another beer.

Airport: London Heathrow
Geographic landmarks: River Thames
Tourist traps we conquered:
- Big Ben
- British Airways London Eye: The London Eye has one of the prettiest
views of London, especially at night. There were fireworks in
the distance, possibly from a pre-celebration of the Queen's Jubilee.
- Houses of Parliament
- Millennium Bridge
- Piccadilly Circus: reminds me of Time Square because of all
the neon advertisementss
- Tower Bridge: everyone confuses this bridge with the London
Bridge (the nursery rhyme one) which actually is in Lake Havasu,
Arizona (it got shipped there).
- Westminster Abbey
Weather in London was weird, raining for 5 minutes and then
stopping and then raining for some more. We met with Andrew's Pre-law
Society Big Bro who was interning at a law firm for the summer.
His law firm was next to this gigantic, bronze statue of a fat lady
laying on her side. Anyway, Andrew took us around London, which
was cool because we were completely lost and intimidated in being
in Europe. Everything in London was so expensive. I like how their
sandwhiches come in these neat triangular boxes.
We had dinner at this small Italian restaurant and the waiter
kept on teasing
me that I was going to foot the bill because I didn't order anything.
It's weird how a lot of Europeans prefer soda water so be sure to
request regular water at restaurants.
London has cool subway ads; a lot were for Broadway musicals
like Chicago, Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, or Lion King. You constantly
hear, "Please mind the gap" when you take the Tube (Underground).
