Yes, that's right, those mice are glowing green. They inserted a gene from a jellyfish that encodes Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP). It's usually used to study things on the cellular level, but these folks decided to make it show up in the whole animal. At first I thought it was kinda neat . . . now it strikes me as pretty creepy.
