I fucking hate my schedule this semester.
I want to sleep. I want to eat regular meals. I want to cook in my apartment and not see my food rot. I want to hang out with my roommates. I don’t want anymore of these migraines stemming from sleep deprivation. I don’t want to think about how I am going to fit in dinner when I wake up in the mornings. Most of all, I just want to take a chill pill every once in a while without feeling like I’m neglecting something.
I actually don’t have the time to write this, but I am because dammit it feels better. Other than being a stress case, I’ve met some wonderful people this semester, learned some awesome things and overall grown as a person. Woo-hoo! Al-most-done…

The atmosphere to this place is really romantic, complete with minimal lighting, candles and modern, rich colors (mainly browns, reds & greens). We were given a 20-30 minute wait time (on a Friday around 7pm) and were seated within 15 minutes. Walking past the kitchen, my friends and I were led to the patio, an area not unlike the restaurant, enclosed with thick, velvet curtains, candelit and equipped with many heat lamps. Our waiter was really nice, smiled a lot, refilled our waters and gave us a detailed description of dishes with obscure names along with his own recommendations. On a side note, the waiter asked whether our water request meant bottled or tap. The menu has ~20 dishes, some sides and ~15 choices of cheese platters. They have an extensive alcohol/cocktail menu. I ordered the potato-cardoon gratin and split the asparagus flatbread with my roommate, who also had the artichoke soup. The dishes are good but very small considering American dining standards. Both my dishes were cheesy, though not too strong. The flatbread was reminiscent of Cheeseboard pizza (thin crust, cheese and no sauce). For dessert, the four of us split the warm rhubarb gratin and baked chocolate mousse torte (both came with ice cream). So delicious! The mousse was really rich (very brownie-esque) and came with banana ice cream melting on top. My favorite was the rhubarb gratin, which was like a buttery apple pie with a grainy, crumbly crust and creme fraiche ice cream plopped on top. The cost for my dishes plus tax & shared $14 tip came to $23. Overall, (+) for atmosphere, service and dessert and slight (-) for good, but slightly unmemorable dishes. {8.5/10}
P.S. I was having such a delicious time last night, I forgot to go to Good Vibes for the Femsex Pleasure Party. I am quite bummed about that.
I added a list of my albums on the right. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to have. Unfortunately, I’ve been listening to a lot of music through Ruckus and so do not have permanant licenses to anything new.
Yes. music=my addiction.
