I discovered that I can not pull all nighters anymore. I felt like the walking dead all day. Not to mention, I almost fell asleep everytime I sat down, including the times I was on the toilet.
I have about 10 things going on this week that do not seem possible to finish without skipping more sleep and/or eating. I am currently hating my life with a passion. !%&$*#^@*

I am so sick of school. I can not seem to get myself to do anything productive. Today: Woke up, bummed around, ate brunch, made some phone calls, bummed around, took a nap, woke up 2.5 hours later, went out w/friends. This is not good.
On another note, I get this odd feeling that this year is different somehow. I just don’t get the same vibe from everything, even though I’ve been in college for over 4 years now. It’s too early to tell if this is a good different or a bad different though.
I shared dinner & quite a few good laughs with some of the old Wada crew tonight. We had some issues getting home. First, we discovered that (after waiting for over 20 minutes) the E shuttle does not run tonight. Then, we witnessed a street brawl less than a block away, which attracted about 5 cop cars a few minutes later. We got approached by a few bummy looking guys on bikes and a drunk guy who assured us that we would be alright. Mhmm. I did not make it back until 1:30am.
Then, there’s the girl in my class who resembles Hilary Swank or that guy who looks like Andrew Keegan. Oh, and let’s not forget the guy who looks like Eminem.
Anyways.
I saw a Tyrone Hayes lecture for maybe the 5th time today. It never gets old for some reason. Medical Ethics seminar is totally rocking my world this semester. I finally got to see a Griego lecture (fabulous) & I might be able to re-live my Human Sexuality days if Malcom Potts comes to speak (possibly for Issues in Reproduction week?). Yaaaaay!

I got stung by a bee!
Like any other day, I laid my hand over the back of my chair while on the phone. All of a sudden (!)…it felt like the chair was cutting into my finger. “Wtf?” I cried and looked down to see a bee crawling away from my hand. That’s when the pain took over my finger. For some reason, I started to laugh, all the while muttering profanities. So, I pulled out the stinger and eventually stuck my hand in the freezer. I think the swelling is dying down now. It was just like getting a shot!…a shot full of poison!
The Royal Tenenbaums: Hmm. I was not completely sold on this one. I can see how it’s a wonderfully shot, witty movie, but most of the humor was over my head. I think I got the same feeling with The Life Aquatic (i.e. confused). That one scene with Luke Wilson left me clutching my wrists in horror. *empathy pains*
Little Miss Sunshine: SO CUTE. Funny and touching at the same time. My favorite part: Pageant Host-”Where’s your grandpa right now?” Olive-”In the trunk of our car.”
It’s Monday! Ah! I hate school! Ah! I have no thesis topic! Fu…uck!

Duty*, oh, duty…why do I hate thee?
1) I can’t see Paris, Je T’aime for $3 at Wheeler tomorrow night.
2) I mistakenly scheduled duty during the weekend I was planning to go to Reno w/Jenn.
3) I have duty during The Shins concert.
@#$%^&$#
*Duty=time RA’s are forced to spend in the residence halls in case anything happens or someone gets locked out

I just lugged 24 Target plates back to Foothill only to discover that the Ikea kiddie plates are $1.49 for a set of 6. Their cups are also $1.49 for pack of 6. Oh, and kiddie utensils are $1.49 for 6 sets. It’s $42.96 for 24 Target plates versus $17.88 to get my suite their own set of Ikea kiddie ware!!!
3 cool things that happened in the last…5 hours:
1) I re-watched Sense and Sensibility with some of my residents.
2) We played a rousing game of Apples to Apples (an awesomely fun game btw).
3) I got an email saying I could return my book for a FULL refund! YES!
I had forgotten how awkward Hugh Grant can be. *awkward turtle*
