Greetings,

As Father’s Day approaches, I am thankful to be able to honor my dad on this day. He is still married to my mother and he was present while I grew up. And, although we haven’t had a perfect relationship, I am thankful for him.

Sadly, traditional families are becoming more rare. Young people today often grow up in homes with only one parent or have to endure divorce and remarriage. Furthermore, they often have to suffer abuse, either physical or verbal. On the other hand, many parents try too much to be friends with their kids and don’t give them the discipline they need. This has led to a generation of hurting kids.

God also is our Father, and He is able to bring healing to the pain of this generation. Over the past year, God has been revealing more to me in my relationship to Him as Father and myself as His son. He has encouraged me so much, and I am even more excited to be a part of His family. He has brought healing and greater freedom in my confidence and other areas where I was hindered before.

He wants to do the same for so many hurting young people throughout the earth. It is exciting to witness what God has done in the lives of many university students through Victory Campus Ministries. There are so many more yet to be reached with the good news, but God is moving!

I thank you so much partnering with Victory Campus Ministries and myself to see this fatherless generation reconciled with our Father in heaven!

    In Christ,

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’
