Deepcover
Yet another Sideswipe repaint. Let see: Sideswipe, Tigertrack, Deepcover, Clampdown, Red Alert, Tiny Sideswipe, OTFCC Sideswipe, Alternator Sideswipe all share his mold or name and have been released or reissued in the last year. I am not sure if the black and blue scheme was ever used by Diaclone, but perhaps it was inspired by the G2 Sideswipes black and red scheme. Since I couldn't find a decent scan of Deepcover's boxart, this picture is edited from Sideswipes boxart. I finally stopped being lazy and made a new gradient background for my customs since the previous one I was using wasn't as close to the originals. I like how he has the ability to shrink, very helpful for the imagination while playing. Of course I don't know many kids who would get this guy. The text is provided by Doug Dlin's translation. I made up the saying. What does it mean? Your guess is as good as mine. I thought it just sounded cool.
