Flip Sides

Another e-hobby exclusive cassette packed in with Twincast. I am glad that e-hobby is creating new characters for these reissues since it would be boring to use Rewind or Eject. The pic is edited from Eject and is mirrored. I hesitated in whether or not to draw in the stickers since e-hobby has a little robot diagram sticker (of Scorponok?) on the figure. However, I decided not to do this since the Eject artwork doesn't accurately account for the stickers that would appear on the legs anyway. I did, however, leave the outer part of her arm blue since the sticker is drawn there and is the same as Eject. Again, small details that I think I only care about. It was nice to have pink-lavender weaponry by the way. The tech bio was condensed from the nicely written bio on e-hobby's site; I hope they continue to write up full level Universe type bios. I hesitated on whether or not to give Flip Sides a Decepticon or Autobot tech. Punch-Counterpunch's uses his "true" allegiance, and the Doubledealer gets a Decepticon tech seemingly by virtue of the unsavory job of being a mercenary. Still, Flip Sides' bio seems more skewed to the Autobot side, although packaged with Twincast in a Destron box. I guess I decided to assign her faction on the basis of what she believes now. I may make another Decepticon version in the future if there is demand. But hell, I watched The Manchurian Candidate and this sleeper agent stuff never works anyway. Flip Sides will eventually choose to be an Autobot after some big traumatic stand off.
