Stratusfire/Turbine
Since I was closing in on my 10,000th hit, I decided to have a fan contest to help name and characterize a new seeker from the G1 era. This seeker artwork is seen on the Japanese released laser disks of the G1 series. On one of the pages is dedicated to prototypes and there was artwork for a seeker that looked like Thundercraker with Thrust wings. I wanted to make a custom spec for this artwork since it closely resembled the boxart of G1, but I couldn't come up with a decent name. So, I posted a contest on ATT to see what the fandom could come up with. There were many great names submitted, but these two I thought were the best and most consistent with the names of the series 1 and 2 G1 seekers. Therefore Stratusfire, submitted by MaxweBri, belongs with the first season techs, and Turbine, submitted by Hotmissile with a flawless tech bio, belongs with the second season techs. I was tempted to recolor one, but decided on merely mirroring the pic.
